Chapter 32

Percy POV

After I calm Annabeth down a little, I bring her downstairs. She is still really shaken up and is extremely quiet. Trying to get her mind off of the situation at hand, I put in The Parent Trap (the new one)

Annabeth falls asleep a few minutes later, and I kiss her forehead. I don't understand why anyone would do this to her. She never did anything to her.

School is tomorrow and to be honest, I'm worried for her. Who knows what will happen. I for one, don't want her to be hurt anymore than she already is.

Annabeth stirs a few hours later, and I try to get her to eat.

"Please, you need to eat," I beg again, I've been trying to do this for 5 minutes now, but she won't budge. "I-I'm not hungry," she says quietly. Ever since the video, she's been extremely quiet, she's almost whispering to talk, that's alarming. She lays her head back on the couch, eyes closed. "Hey, are you alright?" I ask. Annabeth takes in a sharp breath and her face turns pale. No words need to be said, I just rush upstairs and grab her medicine. I almost forgot she still has a concussion.

"Here," I softly say, handing her the medicine and a glass of water. She takes it but doesn't move. I sit beside her and stroke her hair.

20 minutes later

We just finished dinner, yes I got her to eat, and are sitting on the couch when her phone goes off. I watch her as she looks at the text, I see the color drain from her face and she throws her phone across the room. "I'm done!" She  says quietly, yet full of emotion as she runs upstairs.

Quickly, I grab her phone and read the text.

Oh shoot.
