Annabeth POV

"Uggghhhh," I respond to the terrible pain coursing through my head. To make it better, my phone rings. "Oww!" I say while grabbing my phone.

"Hello?" I ask.
"Girl get up! It's Friday!" I hear an excited Thaila say.
"Y-yeah, ok- wait. How do you know I'm still in bed?"
"Because I know you."

She hangs up.

Time lapse to bus stop

I'm wear a sky blue shirt with blue jeans, and leaving my hair down to cover up the gigantic bump and cuts that are all over my temple. Not to mention my eye. Which is nasty.

The bus comes and I get on, sitting in my usual seat, however, I quickly realize Thaila isn't on the bus.
Ding. My phone. I groan because of the noise. Right now the bus is pretty quiet, I'm like the second stop. I look at my phone

-Thaila: won't be on bus today, Mom's bringing me and Jason 2 school

Well that explains that.

As we arrive at Percy's stop, I feel someone sit next to me on. "Hey, Annabeth," Percy says. I cringe at the noise and continue to look out the window. "Annabeth please. Why are you ignoring me?" I feel tears sting my eyes because of the pain, but as always, I fight them back. "Annabeth!" He says. "Annabeth, Annabeth, Annabeth, Annabeth, Annabeth, Annabeth-"
"Shut up!" I say, making my self cringe. A groan escapes my lips and I put my head on the seat.

"What's wrong?" He asks. "Don't worry about." He looks puzzled. "I will worry about it. Ur in pain and ignoring me. Why are you ignoring me?" This Tim I respond, "What do you mean, 'why are you ignoring me?' Your the one that wanted me to in the first place!" I say. Again, he looks confused, "What? No. Why do you think that?" The PAIN. "Because I heard you on the bus saying that to Grover. 'Man, just tell he to leave you alone,'" I say, quoting them. "What? What? What...." He thinks, obviously confused,  then looks as if a light switched on his brain, "Annabeth! That was about Rachel! Not you! I would never want you to leave me alone." I'm awestruck. "What?" I whisper. He smiles. I smile too. He then pulls me into a hug. Thank goodness!

After a minute, the pain quickly comes back, "Ughh, make then shut up!" I groan. "What's wrong?" He asks again. "Nothing, I just have a headache," I sorta lie. He nods, understandingly, and rubs my arm.

The bus arrives at the school and we obviously all get off.

What will today await?
