Percy POV
Annabeth falls asleep while we wait for the pizza. Noticing the chill bumps on her arms, I lay a blanket over her small body on the couch.
I don't know what I'm going to do tomorrow. It's going to be a Monday, which means school, which means she is going to be teased. I don't want that to happen.
My phone goes off and I look at the text I got unknown caller ID. Huh.
Look up 12385 on YouTube.
What? But, me being a curious teenage, I look it up.
Video
A girl with long blonde hair is called in front of a tough looking teacher. "Well! Go ahead and sing!" He says short tempered. She walks background, his volume frightening her.
Her shaking hand lays on the piano for support.
"I said sing!" He roars. The girl looks scared as she allows a few words to come out of her mouth that are squeaky due to the mans yelling. "W-we d-drove by a-all the places w-we used to h-hang o-out g-getting w-wasted-" her squeaky, fearful, singing stops when the man yells again. "You sound like a dying cow! Do you really think I'm going to accept you for state? Get out!" He roars. I actually think she would would be really good if she wasn't so scared. She runs out of the room in tears, accidentally knocking a stray chair over on the way.
It wasn't until then did I realize it was Annabeth.
My blood boils as I try to find out who texted me. My assumptions are 100% Rachel. This must be the video she was going to show in the lunchroom. No wonder the video's title were numbers and not an actual title, she didn't want to get expelled if the principal saw the text. Man, am I going to rip her to pieces.
Annabeth still lays peacefully on the couch, her breathing soft and even, unlike last nights event, which to be honest, I don't know if I could have calmed her down so much to get her to sleep without the medicine.
Hair that has fallen in front of her face, I push back to behind her ear, exposing her beautiful features.
The door bell rings and I get the pizza and set it out with the strawberries, waiting for her to wake before we eat. Plus, it gives me time to of things to do to Rachel.
