Four:- Roasters Coffee Shop
RING RING RING RING
"Ugh, finally. For the first time, this is the most tiring day of school." Nathan said to himself as he opened his locker to store his things in for the next day.
Usually, high school students would run out and rush home or hang out with their friends. Nathan, on the other hand, has other plans for a school night. As he kept his things in his locker, his mind went back to the words Jadrianne said when she witnesses the scene, he made during the lunch period.
"Whatever. I don't like getting into people's business but at least keep your emotions in check. Don't take it out on people."
BANG!
He banged his head against his locker in frustration. "Ugh, who's she to tell me what to do with my emotions?" He grumbled.
"Self-punishment for being grumpy?" A voice spoke out of the blue making Nathan jump and banged his head against the lockers in shock. "Argh! Damn it!" He exclaimed in pain. He crouched down to the ground as he held his head.
Jadrianne watched the scene before her with a neutral expression. She continued her way to open her locker. When Nathan recovered, he stood up and look at her in disbelief. "Seriously, why are you always sneaking around me?!" Nathan cried out. "Well, it's not sneaking. You just let your guard down." She simply answered as she continued to put her things in her locker.
It wasn't long until Nathan noticed something that would potentially give him his next heart attack of the day. "Wait . . . that's . . . your locker?" He spoke slowly as if to wire the circuits in his head. Jadrianne looked at him over her shoulder. "Hm? Oh, yeah. It is." She answered as she closed the locker door and turned to him.
No way . . . Can she not be any closer? He thought with horror written on his face. That's when he burst, "WHY IS IT ACROSS FROM MINE?!" He grabbed a fistful of his hair as he glared at her. All Nathan could think about was how this girl was a living curse whose purpose is to kill him at the right moment.
Nathan felt that he was going to lose it. He never loses his mind over one person. Especially, not over a . . . girl.
Slinging one strap of her bag over her shoulder and putting her hood up, she looked at a panic-struck Nathan. "Hey," she spoke as he shifted his attention to her, "You look like you're summoning your monster dog, Cerberus from hell. I'd appreciate it if I live on my first day." With that, she left through the exit leaving an enraged Nathan.
"ARGH! YOU ANNOYING CREEP! DIE!"

Dashing down the streets of the town, Nathan looked down at his watch. "Argh, I'm going to be late because of that creep." He exclaimed. It was a good thing Nathan is an athlete especially since he runs track. People he ran past were amazed at how a teenage boy was running so fast.
"Mommy! He's like the flash!" A kid said as he tugged at the sleeve of his mother.
"I used to be that fast, back in the day." An old man boasted to his elderly wife.
With relief, Nathan made it in the nick of time as he looked up at the big aesthetic signage, Roasters Coffee Shop. He burst through the back door which caught the attention of the staff. "I'm here!" He panted and announced as he closed the door.
"Hermano! You're just in time!" A husky voice exclaimed in excitement. Nathan looked up to see the shop's manager. "Señor Enrique." Nathan greeted as he made his way to the locker room to change. "Hey~. You know I told you to just call me Enrique! You've been working with us for a year already!" Enrique exclaimed as he followed Nathan.
