Sixteen:- Alone Angst Teen

"Alright. We're done for today. See you guys tomorrow!"

After Nathan finished getting dressed back in his normal clothes, he got out using the back door. After he closed it, he went and leaned against the concrete wall while running his fingers through his dark hair as he stared at the ground.

"You really know how to make someone worry for you, Nate."

He closed his eyes as the words he received today flowed in his mind.

"You're a stubborn chico and refuses to let others reach out to you."

Nathan let out a warm breath.

"There are people out there who sincerely want to help you or at least know you."

"They've been hurt so much to the point where they thought people who just come to them is just going to hurt them in the end."

Nathan leaned his head back against the wall.

"If there is someone who's sincerely reaching their hand out to you, don't think too much and just slowly accept them."

"It would make you feel even better if you helped them in return. It would not only make them happy, but you'd find happiness within their happiness."

He opened his eyes and looked up at the now, dark skies.

"It's a great feeling."

He sighed and covered his eyes with his forearm over them. "Why do I feel so depressed and shit?"

A voice spoke out of the blue, "Isn't it because you're a moody person?" Nathan lifted his arm a bit to see who it was and when he did, he rolled his eyes and groaned, annoyed. "What are you even doing here, stalker?"

Jadrianne chuckled at his 'energetic' response. "I was only taking a night stroll. I'm still new here, remember? I want to get to know the town a little bit." She shrugged as she displayed a smug grin on her lips. Nathan's eye twitched as he felt the familiar irritation in him towards her.

She could've used that free time to explore and not just eat desserts at the café. Nathan frowned.

"Whatever, and I'm not moody." He grumbled as he crossed his arms against his chest while looking away with a deep frown. "Plus, I doubt you 'coincidentally' just stroll past the back door of the coffee shop I work in," He glared at her from the corner of his eye. She just shrugged as she tucked her hands in her back pocket and leaned on her one of her leg.

"I go wherever my legs take me and it looks like it's a coincidence we met anyways." She smirked which irked Nathan. "No, it's not a coincidence." He quoted before turning away and crossing his arms like before. Jadrianne just chuckled and shook her head. "Keep on denying, Demon Nerd."

The vein in his temple felt as if it was about to burst. "You're just-," He snapped his head to face her and shout until he realized she had gone closer to him, so their faces were inches away.

He was frozen at their proximity She looked at him with a mischievous look and she smirks whilst showing her teeth as if she was smiling but it was definitely a smirk, nonetheless. Nathan was frozen all over because he didn't know what to do and his mind was cluttered so much that he couldn't pick up what was happening. It was as if his brain was short-circuited.

Jadrianne reached up and held his chin with her pointer finger under the chin and her thumb was just below his lip. "You act all cold but you're really just a scared and oblivious puppy underneath all the tough facade." She chuckled, "But, you're a cute puppy, though."
