Ben was trying to keep strong. But, he was scared. He was alone. And at the rate he was going he would be found out in only a few days. Older kids pick on him, so he's forced to kill them. And of course he's getting way more kills than he's supposed to. He was getting more kills than Jeff could in a week. But just in one day.

He wasn't fit for living like this. This was against his known nature, and he didn't like it. It'd been a week since he went to the old mans house. Its been a few days since he's witnessed the old man get beat down at his front door. If he showed his face now, the old man probably push him away faster than anything. He needed food, and a place to live. He didn't like begging for stuff, and he knew where to get good food. But why would he go back? He's supposed to be a natural born killer with the instinct of a wild animal. But here he is, lost in his sorrow like a runaway kid.

He was desperate for food and shelter. But if he went back to the house he'd be attacked with the thoughts of no one taking him seriously. He can't go back. He can never go back. So he stood here, in front of the old man's house. He was just waiting. Waiting for some sort of courage to rise up and help him gain the courage to knock on the door. But, nothing was happening. He was just sitting there, in the rain. It was ironic to their first meeting, he thought. But how long until he catch some sort of human cold and die of it? How long would he last like this? How much more time did he have? These questions irritated him to the point of tears and sad rage.

He wanted someone to hold him. He missed his room, his bed. He missed sally, and Jeff, and Jane, masky, hoodie, Diane, Liu. He missed the annoying warmth of the house, and the den where him and Jeff would hang out. He missed the feeling of actually wanting to be in the ran. He missed the feeling of being so full that he couldn't eat another bite. He even missed the antagonizing feeling to chuck a book at Toby whenever he said something sly or sexual towards him. He missed hoodie. He probably missed him to most. His eyes, his face, his lips, his arms..

He missed his boyfriend. He missed his friends. No, he missed his family. But there's no way he could go back.

"Oi, are you gonna say something?" Ben heard a voice. He was still standing in front of the old man's house but that wasn't his voice. He looked up through wet strands of hair to see a tall, black haired, Asian guy looking down at him. His face was unamused, his jaw was strong, and his eyes were blue. He was wearing a buttoned white shirt and dress pants. Who was this guy?

"Uh...where's the old guy?" Ben finally spoke, his voice so worn out he actually forgot what he sounded like.

"Old guy? Oh, Mr. Toshiba. He's in the back. You wanna explain why you're standing in front of his house in the rain?" The man spoke with a deep voice. Deep and threatening. But in a way, calming. Ben didn't answer, but staring this guy in the face made his body heat up, so he looked down at his feet. The man sighed before throwing a towel over Ben.
