Warning ⚠! If you are suicidal or depressed then this might be a trigger type of chapter! You have been warned!
Jeff was sitting in the kitchen, staring that the pistol across the table. He was sure he was the only one home. He lied to everyone saying that he was going out to get his kills And when everyone left at the same time, he climbed back in through a window.
Jeff has been suicidal for a whole now. A good 10 years. He never told anyone, never said anything, never showed it. He was sure that the expansion he made to his mouth would maybe help him. The blood stain lines on his mouth before were lies, and he fixed it. But it seemed to only make him feel worse.
He stared at the gun blankly, his hands folded and over his mouth. He wanted to cry. But he couldn't. He didn't know why, he just couldn't. He wanted to move, to blink, to do something. But he just couldn't. He was alive and well but he didn't know if he was breathing. It didn't seem like he was losing air, but it also didn't seem like his chest was inhaling or exhaling. At all.
So it was just him. Himself and his static of thoughts. He just wanted to be normal. Hell, he wanted to be dead. He wanted to be everything rather than what he was right now. He wasn't sure what he wanted anymore.
_____
Now he was just lost. He'd been staring at this gun for an hour now. At least he thought he had been. Then he sighed. He'd gotten his thoughts together. He stood up and grabbed the gun, cocking it and pausing. He slowly raised the gun up to the hem of the side of his head and--
"JEFF, NO!!!!" He heard a voice scream. He turned around to see the voice was Liu's. He froze as Liu rushed over, faster than he'd ever seen him go, and knocked the gun out jeffs hand and gripping him roughly by his shoulders. Jeff's mind at this point was blank. Lius lips were moving frantically but nothing was coming out. Just a flat high pitch noise. He stared at his brother, who was shaking him furiously. Then his vision went black. Was he passing out? Were his eyes open? What the hell?
"Jeff!" Liu shouted, knocking Jeff back into reality.
"Yeah?" Jeff replied lazily.
"What the hell were you doing?!" Liu screamed, his eyes watering up. Jeff looked around. What was he doing? Was he actually gonna pull the trigger and end it all? He didn't even know himself.
"I don't....know." Jeff sighed. Liu grunted, trying to hold back his tears. He was the older brother. He didn't know how else to deal with this. He couldn't imagine what he'd do if Jeff wasn't here.
The stitches on his fave throbbed, reminding him of their past. He never thought he'd be here. Standing in a mansion like house, living with several other psychopathic murderers, one of them being him and his little brother. He never pictured walking in on an attempted suicide...
_____Liu had Jeff laid in his room, stripped down to what he usually sleeps in; no shirt and shorts. Liu gave Jeff some water.
"Liu, I don't have the fucking flu." Jeff snapped. Liu grunted.
"Jeff, talk to me." Liu cooed.
"I am...?"
"No, I mean...what were you planning on doing with that gun?"
Jeff paused.
"Liu...I don't know, honestly. I've wanted to be dead for a long time. But...I never did anything about it. I don't know what's wrong with me."
"There's nothing wrong with you, Jeff. Most of us go through depression. But wanting to end your own life...isn't that a little extreme?"
"No."
"Jeff....promise me something...?"
Jeff sighed, slightly in annoyance. He raised his eyebrows, waiting to hear the bullshit promise he was gonna have to agree to.
"Promise me that you won't leave me here alone. On earth. Because even though I'm the older brother, I've always felt like you were more than me. So promise, for the sake of my sanity and heart, youbwont take your own life."
Jeff paused, and looked away. He wasn't sure he could make this promise. But, for the sake of his brother, he would.
"Ok, Liu. I promise. But you have to help me see an end to my depression. Promise?" Jeff slightly whispered.
"I promise." Liu smiled. He slumped over on Jeff and hugged him. And, for the first time in forever, Jeff hugged back.
And they stayed like that. Hugging...
