Jeff continued to play his game for about an hour as the girl slept on. He got up and went into the kitchen to make a sandwich. When he came back, sandwich in hand, he was shocked to see the little girl was gone.
"Shit! Where the hell did she go?!" Jeff said through his teeth. He looked around and saw No one. Then he sat down, putting his sandwich beside him, and played on. He reached for his sandwich, only to find out that it was gone. He looked and saw a bloody, smudged ,hand print on his plate.
"That little fucker." Jeff said. He screamed and jumped as he looked forward again to see the little girl taking the last bite of the sandwich while sitting on the coffee table.
"Goddamn little girl." Jeff said, holding his heart and sighing. The little girl giggled. Her eyes were bright green and it seemed that the blood on her hands and face and dress was brand new.
"Hey, kid. Your getting blood all over my fucking coffee table." Jeff said. He lifted the little girl and stood her up. He yelled Jane's name and Jane yelled back.
Jeff looked at the bloody Teddy bear tightly held in the girl's arms.
"What'cha got there?" Jeff asked sitting down and pointing to the Teddy bear.
"This is my Teddy bear." She responded.
"Does it have a name?" Jeff asked. The little girl played with her hands and shook her head No. Jeff noticed a fresh, new, stream of blood start to fall down the girl's face. He moved her brown hair out the way to see a huge gash on her forehead.
"What happ--"
"Sorry," Jane said jogging into the den. Jeff quickly turned around. "I was sleep, Ben told me you called me. Come on, Sally." Jane held her hand out for the little girl to come grab it. Sally looked at Jeff with cold eyes and Jeff stared back with a concerned, scared, and worried look. Sally giggled then ran over to Jane and took her hand, burying her face into Jane's sweatpants. Jeff gave Jane a look and Jane shrugged.
A few hours went on and Jeff was sleeping in the den. Sally came into the room and noticed Jeff.
"He should play with us." She whispered to the Teddy bear. She went over and hung her head over Jeff's. Blood dripped off her face onto his, but not waking him.
She then held her Teddy bear by it's arm and swung it back and forth over Jeff's head, still not waking him.
"He's a deep sleeper." Sally laughed. She then walked around to Jeff's side and climbed onto his stomach. She thought, surely, this would wake him. But Jeff just sighed and continued to sleep. Sally sweared under her breath. She then bounced on Jeff's stomach. She wasn't heavy enough to actually to any damage. Jeff slept on.
This made Sally upset. She bounced up and down angrily trying to wake him. Jeff did a slight laugh then snorted and slept on. Sally angrily squeezed Jeff's white sweatshirt leaving bloody prints. She then began to hit Jeff with her Teddy bear.
"...Ah...Ahh...Ah-Ow! Ow, What the fuck?!" Jeff screamed as he blocked his face.
"WAKE UP! WAKE UP! WAKE UP!" Sally yelled hitting Jeff with her hand and the Teddy bear.
"Hey! Sandy! Stop it!" Jeff yelled, picking up the girl and standing.
"MY NAME IS SALLY!!" Sally screamed kicking and wiggling in Jeff's arms. Jeff sighed and carried the little girl upstairs.
"JAAAAAANNNNEEE!!!" Jeff and Sally yelled. Jane ran out her room and met Jeff in the hallway. She grabbed Sally from Jeff and Sally put her face in Jane's shoulder.
