Over the period of time they had started driving, it had gotten dark. Most of the people in Jeff's rv were asleep. But not Sadie. She sat upfront with him, earphones in, constantly looking over at him, slightly smiling. He would always catch her gaze and smile back.

She did it again and Jeff chuckled.

"Why do you keep doing that?" He laughed.

"Doing what?" Sadie laughed and shrugged.

"Looking over at me and smiling."

"I don't you. You look peaceful while you're driving."

"Well don't watch me."

"Too late."

Sadie flashed her eyes wildly at Jeff causing them both to laugh. Sadie hadn't forgot about the time Jeff saved her during a panic attack. She hasn't forgotten the look she saw in his eye. The sweet and caring Jeff that was embracing her, the Jeff that made her fee like the only girl in the world. She stared at him but this time, her expression blank. Suddenly Jeff yelled rest stop and everybody seemed to have woken up with excitement. They pulled in and everyone got out. Well, except Sadie. She was offered to be paid for but she declined.

So she relaxed, gently closing her eyes and sitting still. She stiffened when she heard the rv door open again.

"Sadie, you ok?" Jeff asked. Sadie hummed and shook her head yes.

"Oh. Good. I just didn't want you in here by yourself."

"Why not?"

"Because. You're suicide sadie. I mean c'mon, that name just sounds terrifying."

"Oh. I guess."

"Suicide is a scary thing."

"Yeah."

They were quiet. Jeff decided he'd sit facing Sadie. He sat down and seemed to be studying her body, stopping and cringing at the cuts on her arms.

"Do those ever close?" Jeff asked, his face still partly cringed.

"Nope."

"Hm..."

"Hey jeff?"

"Yeah?"

"Why'd you yell at Jane? I mean, I was the one on the video, why didn't you yell at me?"

"Because, you seem to be more fragile than Jane. I didn't wanna upset you or cause another anxi--anhin--" jeff couldn't say the word which made Sadie giggle.

"Anxiety attack?" Jeff laughed and Sadie laughed with him.

"Ya know, Sadie." Jeff started, "I really do care about you. I mean, I know I'm not the nicest person-- or the nicest looking guy but...you're one of those girls that even if I didn't know you, I'd care a hell of a lot about you. Just thought you should know." Jeff winked. Sadie's face flushed with pure red. She had never seem Jeff like this. So sensitive and caring. And towards her.

She had completely turned to face Jeff and they were practically inches away from each other's face. Before she could think, Jeff's lips were pressed against hers. Her body flushed with joy, happiness, and all sorts of other emotions as she kissed back. Her feelings for Jeff since her panic attack hadn't changed.

Then she remembered something.

Kagekao.(OOOOH SIDE PLOT!)

She slowly backed off Jeff, but not as if something was wrong. She stared at Jeff and smiled. A short while after that they started on the road again...
