Jane was in her room, trying on different shirts, when there was a soft knock.
"Come in." She called. Softly, in stepped Sadie. Jane smiled.
"Hey, what's up?" Jane said, sitting on her bed. Sadie came over and sat next to her.
"I was just wondering, you being the only other girl in the house, How are things run around here?" Sadie asked, shrugging.
"Wait, what about Sally and Diane?" Jane asked.
"Well, Sally's like 5. And Diane is a fucking pony." Sadie said. Jane giggled.
"Yeah, I guess so. I mean, things aren't really run around here. As long as you get your weekly kills in, everything goes smooth. But we mostly sleep and eat like fat bastards." Jane explained. Her and Sadie and Jane both laughed.
They talked on for hours. Telling each other their stories, things they've done, secrets. Eventually Jeff called everyone down for dinner. Jane and Sadie got up and walked out and began walking to the kitchen.
"Me and you have a lot in common, Jane. We're like sisters." Sadie said, wrapping her arm around Jane. Jane cringed at her cuts and widened her eyes. They stopped walking and Sadie snatched her arm away.
"No, Sadie, I didn't mean--"
"No, it's Ok. I understand. I'm not mad." Sadie said, slightly smiling.
"It's gonna take some getting used to." Jane shrugged.
"I know."
"It won't take long. You're like my bff." Jane smiled. Sadie smiled and rushed a hug into Jane. Jane hugged her back, and they continued to walk...
