Sally had forced Jeff, and a few others, out of the house. She was forcing them to go out and look for clues on Ben. She wasn't accepting the fact that something happened to him. So she'd grabbed a few people and ordered them to look around the house Ben was staying at before it turned to smithereens.
They were coming up with nothing. Nothing at all.
"Sally, there's nothing out here." Liu sighed.
"There has to be something! A clue maybe! Keep looking!" He rolled his eyes and continued looking through the rubble.
Again, nothing.

It had gotten dark and the group was taking a different route home. Sally decided this so she could look around for more clues. They found themselves walking down a sidewalk, next to a neighborhood.
Jeff was one of the participants. He was lazily walking, lightly dragging his feet. He looked out into the neighborhood. It was a suburban kind, that's for sure. But something caught his eye. Something that made his heart stop for a second. Without warning anyone he ran over, running through backyards.
"J-jeff!" Liu called. The gang chased after him as he jumped fences like a criminal escaping the cops. They all stopped a few feet away from him, seeing him kneeling down and holding something. All except Sally. She ran over and grabbed his shoulder.
"What is it Jeff?" She asked gently. Jeff turned around and revealed the small, green beanie held in his pale hands. Everyone's faces showed the same shocked expression.
"I...is that?" Hoodie asked, running over and hesitating to take it. Jeff clench his fist closed and stared at everyone sternly.
"He's alive. He's alive and around here, we just need to find him. Its late, so everyone get their kills while they're out here," he gingerly walked over and hopped the fence again, "After that go home and rest. Now that we know he's alive we have to keep looking. I want no fucking complaining or groaning. This is what's happening. Now everyone, do as you're told." With those words Jeff ran and hopped off a few houses walls to work his way higher into the sky.
Liu snickered.
"What's funny?" Toby asked.
"That's my Jeff..."
