Quick Sally and Diane thing while I'm in detention :P
Sally had decided to go out on a walk with Diane. It was actually really nice out today; Cloudy, but nice.
Diane took these little walks into the woods just to gain guidence and balance. She's not one to meditate; so she didn't. She walked. It was exercise for your brain and your legs.
And apparently a good time for Sally to practice more ways to flip and twirl herself around. As they walked Sally flipped, and twisted, and turned, cartwheeled, and somersaulted down the path.
Diane enjoyed watching her little show. She got distracted and fell.
"Fuck!" She screamed once she hit the ground. Sally covered her mouth and ran over to Diane.
"You ok?" She asked gently. Diane sucked her teeth lightly and nodded.
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"You said a swear."
"A what?"
"A swear. You sweared."
"No, I cussed. I don't call them swears. Plus, you've heard me cuss before."
"But not like that."
"I'm sorry. I really shouldn't talk like that around you."
"Oh...."
Diane stood herself up and they kept walking.
"I don't see what the big deal is." Diane sighed. Sally raised her eyebrows and twisted her lips at Diane.
"I mean....cussing are words. Like sentence enhancers. Kids should be allowed to cuss if they want to. Its just stupid.."
Sally listened carefully to what diane was saying. She didn't see anything wrong with kids cussing either. But it was more of a big difference if adults did it. She didn't know why, that's just how she was raised.
"But," Diane added, peeking over at Sally, "that doesn't mean you go back to the house swearing like a sailor." Sally giggled.
"I won't."
"Good."
"Only when I'm angry."
"What? No."
"Sad?"
"No."
"Hungry?"
"What? Hungry?"
"Yeah, I'll be like. I'm so...hungry." Sally smiled, causing Diane to laugh.
______
They were walking down the same path, heading back home. And of course now it had started to rain.
Sally was back to doing her crazy walking gymnastics. But during her cartwheel she slipped in the mud and fell, landing in a painful looking spilt pose.
"Fuck! Ow! Oh my shit that hurt! Son of a bastard!" Sally yelled, rubbing her now stinging and muddy inner thighs. Diane stood a foot away, looking star struck at Sally's new vocabulary.
"Oh shit-- I mean! I didnt--" Sally quickly covered her mouth with both hands. Diane began to cackle with laughter. Sally looked worried and confused.
"Its OK, sally. You're fine. I'm not gonna snitch." Diane assured.
"Stitch what?" Sally asked.
"No, snitch. Like tattle."
"Oh..."
Diane walked over and helped Sally up and they kept walking.
Soon they reached they house. Sally stopped Diane outside the door.
"Promise you won't tell?" Sally pouted, holding out her little pinky. Diane held up her hoof.
"I don't have fingers, but yeah I promise." With those words Diane touched her hoof onto Sally's pinky. They both giggled and proceeded into the house....
