The first story I am going to tell you is about a girl who changed our minds about sadness. She came here when she just just twelve, because her whole family was killed in a bombing. She wanted a fresh start. She wanted to be able to focus on her creative release, without all of the stresses present in the other world. We all knew how sad she was, but she kept herself so locked up we didn't know how to help her. I never even got to give her a formal orientation like I'm doing for you. She never ate. We don't even think she slept for more than twenty minutes a night. But despite all of this, she would send the most wonderful poems and stories to one of the ultraviolets. He was instructed by this beautiful lady to share them with everybody he saw during the day. When she finally had enough substance for a book, we all worked really hard to make sure it got printed. This girl had such a raw talent and she could put any feeling into words. They were flawless. Every semicolon, comma, period, and letter was perfectly placed to get the raw emotion out of your soul. If she wanted you to cry, you cried for hours, remembering the blistering effect those words had on your psyche. I'm sure she could have even perfectly described the colors. She named her book "The Pattern of Perfection on the Emotions." We were all so excited to finally see and hold the book in our hands. The book was finally released and it caused such an uproar in our communities. Everyone wanted her to write more and more and more. She was sending her friend at least ten to fifteen poems a day, and she published a book about every two months. She did this for about ten editions of her remarkable poetry. But then all of a sudden, she disappeared. She just vanished into thin air. All of her things were gone except for a little slip of paper that said "time stood still for two years and now it shall resume." I don't know where she is now, but I think she is the only person that has successfully left ultraviolet in one piece. She was a powerful force and so mysterious too. She was never understood, but she was also vulnerable and raw. Do you think you could change people's lives like she did?
