“I though you would never ask,” He breathed in that velvet husky voice of his. He turned and walked over to me. He was going to stay. I couldn’t breathe for a second. He got to my bed, moved the covers and slowly sank in next to me wrapping his arms around my body. I didn’t realize how cold I was until I was in his warm embrace. This felt so calming, comforting even. He shifted a little behind me and pulled me closer to him. 

My heart started pounding loudly. Not only could I feel it but I would also hear it. And if I could hear it so could... “Sophie what’s wrong?” Damn it hearts shut up. Well no don’t shut up just keep it down will you? 

“Why are you nervous?” He asked when I didn’t answer but I was sure he already knew. I  decided to pretend to be asleep. I just didn’t want to ruin the moment. It was so precious. I wanted us to stay like this forever. 

He sighed. He is planning something. He leaned closer to my ear and whispered, “You can actually sleep now.” Suddenly my nerves were completely gone and sleepiness took over me. He was doing this. Thank you. “Anytime,” he breathed kissing my cheek, “now sleep.” As I was drifting into what I hoped was a happier place I panicked again. I shot him out of my head and he shoot up in the bed. 

“Geez Sophie what was that? You scared me.” He shifted to his right side so that now he was almost hovering over me. “What’s wrong now?” he asked concerned. 

I didn’t want to say it. I was so exhausted and thankful to his powers. Will I have the dream again?

His face shifted from concern to sympathy. Ocean blue eyes stared into mine as if consuming me. He would read me, I could tell. He could see everything in this dark head of mine. Christian moved his hand to my face and caressed my cheek lightly. “I have an idea,” he started tracing patterns up my cheek bone towards my forehead. It felt so good. Calming even. It was like everywhere he touched he left calmness. “but I need you to open up to me.” he was now tracing down to my other cheek. “You can’t shut me out okay?” he was close to my lips now. 

I nodded. He started tracing his fingers down my lower lip and his other hand was tracing down the bridge of my nose. This felt so relaxing. I opened my eyes and realized he was inches away from me his breath invading my now parted lips. I so wanted to kiss him. I let him in. Into my mind, into my heart, into my soul, into every single inch of my now very dead body. “Thank you.” he breathed against my forehead and kissed it. No, I wanted another kind of kiss. “Now go to sleep Princess.” and now I could feel him closer than ever. Princes? Really? I was about to complain when suddenly his lips were on mine and I was gone. 

No! I wanted to feel the kiss but I just couldn’t. I was literally gone, sleeping I guess in my imaginary world. Oh no... Will I have the nightmare?

Trust me.

Holy mother of... oh but .. but how?

I am here to try something. I am here to teach you how to control your dreams. I had the nightmares about my parents for the longest time. I learned how to control them only days after they were already gone. And well I guess it will be easier for me because my powers are based on the mind but I am sure you can get there too.
