Hello there readers. I am so sorry it took me so long to update but its been crazy up in here. Thank you so much for sticcking with me and again I am really sorry :( I know how much I hate it when stories I like dont have fast updates... I hope you enjoy it :)

(Sophie)

I held the book in my hands but couldn’t get the courage to open it. What if this book held all the answers I have been looking for? What if this was it? What it it had nothing? I couldn’t face it now. I placed it inside my new CIA issued bag and stood up from the chair. “Excuse me?” I asked the agent before she could leave, “Can I see them?” She looked a little ambivalent and unsure, that was not a good sign.

“Agent Walter and Ryder are both in recovery. We don’t allow visitors but they should be out soon.” I nodded. They were human. They needed time to recover.

“And Christian?” I asked before I even had time to think about it twice. My Christian. How badly was he hurt?

She looked at me with concern in her eyes and the answered, “Not yet, he is still in critical condition.”

“But he won’t die right? I mean,” I looked down at my locket and held it in my hands, “He can’t die.”

“We don’t know that for sure. I’m sorry we can’t be more helpful but this is all as new to us as it is to you.”

“No it is not! You have had people like us in the agency for centuries. You should be experts by now. Things like this happen all the time..”

“They don’t. This is the first time we have to deal with something like this.” And with that she turned and left me there, hanging.

I needed a plan. I needed to find Christian and the pocket watch. I had to give it back to him. That would save him. Now who took it from him? And there was only one person who came to mind. Dina.

After half an hour of exploring, hiding and planning I found myself inside the recovery room of the hospital wing of Langley. Christian’s powers came handy a couple of times during this journey.

As I examined everything in front of me I realized there were two bed but one of the two was way worse than the other one. As I walked closer I could see the difference. Travis was almost completely healed while Dina was still covered by casts, tubes and machines.

If I remember correctly, Travis was the one closer to the bomb, not Dina. What had happened to her from then to now? Was she this bad when I brought her in? If she looked like this how was Christian? My heart stopped only thinking about him. He needed to get better. Where was he? Well they would obviously have him somewhere else and I would find him soon enough but first I needed to find the pocket watch and well Dina was not going to be able to help. I sighed and directed my attention towards Travis who was fast sleep.

He was virtually unharmed other than a huge scratch that traveled from the bridge of his nose all the way to his right ear. It was almost healed now but that would most definitely leave a scar. “Oh Travis if only you were here to help me.” I leaned in and held his hand, “I don’t know what to do. I wasn’t fast enough to save Dina or Christian. You were the first I brought back and you are almost healed, I don’t know what to do about the others, I don’t know how to help them.” instinctually my hand moves towards the hem of my neck and rested on my locket as a tear escaped my eyes. I was so frustrated for not being able to do anything to help anybody. I grunted and closed my eyes. Come on Sophie, you can do this. Think!  I need to find a way to help Dina and find the pocket watch for Christian... Dina!
