Kylie's POV

"I've said it once and I'll say it again. She's delusional," Josh stated, leaning against the counter with Mitchell.

I was in the kitchen, trying to figure out how to make tea... Yeah, I'm terrible at cooking. And this isn't even cooking if you think about it... It's drink-creating.

Anyway, Mitchell and Josh were busy trying to figure out what mental disorder Minxie had. Call me crazy, but I believe her. I mean, Minxie isn't a liar; she never was and never will be. The few times she tried to get away with lying, I knew it right away, since she was absolutely terrible at it.

Plus, she'd never even heard of Naruto. I'm the only one in our entire group of friends, excluding Josh and Mitchell, that's ever even heard of Naruto. And I'm not even a die-hard fan or anything. Sure, I watched a few episodes, but I never really got past the Chunin Exams arc. And just looking at Minxie through this little epic window in her kitchen, I see how bummed out she looks.

"Maybe she's telling the truth," I said quietly, and both boys looked at me. "What!? I'm just saying... DON'T LOOK AT ME! You know I don't do well under pressure!" I hissed out, covering my face with my hands.

Mitchell and Josh shared a sigh, but I continued on nonetheless.

"I mean, think about. You guys know Minx. Why would she lie about something like this?" I said, trying to sound reasonable.

"So you're saying that by some miracle, she did magically appear into the Naruto world," Mitchell said sarcastically.

"Don't use sarcasm on me!" I barked, glaring at him. He put up his hands in surrrender.

"Fine, fine... But I still think she might be crazy. I mean, we found her unconscious on her front porch... According to what she said, she's been gone for months, but it's only been a few hours since we left school," He said.

"Well... I mean, we're not exactly braniacs when it comes to math... Maybe we told the time wrong?" I said, shrugging nervously.

They both sent me 'yeah right' looks. I facepalmed, turning back to the tea that I was failing in making.

"Look, all I'm saying is that she's my best friend, and I trust her. She wouldn't lie about something like this. I mean... Look at her face! She's looks like she's been deprived of chocolate for weeks, and you know how much of a sweet tooth she has," I said seriously.

They ignored me, and I felt my eye twitch as I glared at them, but I turned back to make the tea. It started making this really weird noise... Which frightened me.

About 10 minutes later, I still had no success with making the tea. So, I decided that I'd give Minxie some corn.

I know what you're thinking... Corn? What the heck? Yeah... Minxie's weird. She's in love with corn for some reason. Seriously, she eats it alone. Not as a side dish, but as a full meal. It's freaky, but... I've learned to deal with it.

I mean... She does deal with me.

I brought out the can of corn, fiddling with the can opener. I attatched the can to it, trying to open it. But... It didn't work.

I tried for several more minutes, and ended up with the same result. I pounded the can opener viciously, but it wouldn't open the damn can!

A few more minutes of unsuccessful can opening, and I lost it.

"OH MY FUDGE MONKIES! THIS DAMN CAN OPENER WON'T DO ITS DAMN JOB AND OPEN THIS DAMN CAN, DAMN IT! SO I CAN'T OPEN THE DAMN CORN SO MINXIE CAN EAT IT ON A DAMN PLATE AND I'M FREAKIN' ANGRY!" I hollered, throwing the can across the table.
