I made my way over to the arena, moving as fast as I could. Is it just me, or did the path suddenly seem longer? I didn't remember it taking that long when Kakashi-sensei led Sasuke and I over there. So why did it suddenly seem longer?

And if that wasn't weird enough, it started raining. Yes, raining. No warning signs whatsoever. It just started practically storming outside.

I stopped in my tracks, knowing that this wasn't just any kind of weird. This was a sort of magical weird, and I wasn't sure if it was dangerous or not.

I looked around, searching for any signs of suspiciousness, but there were none. I shrugged my shoulders and began speeding off to the arena again... But I never reached it.

Thunder boomed and lightning flashed across the sky, and I was ready to run back to Kakashi-sensei and Sasuke, but considering that I was closer to the arena...

I kept heading for the areba, the rain getting heavier with every step I took. Thunder boomed again, and I cringed slightly. Watching a storm from inside a house was one thing; actually being in one was another. There's absolutely nothing peaceful about being outside when it's storming. If anything, it's scary as hell.

And... I had already gotten hit by lightning once, which I really didn't want. I found it odd that it started storming out of nowhere, but I paid no mind to it.

I decided that running in this weather was dangerous, so I began walking, making sure I didn't slip on any of the puddles that had formed due to this chaotic rain.

Lightning flashed overhead once more, missing me by a split second. My eyes widened, and I realized running would be a good idea after all.

But... I never got the chance to sprint. Thunder boomed and lightning flashed again, hitting me this time. And then, my body hit the wet ground and I blacked out.

"Hey, look, I think she's waking up!" I heard someone say happily.

I groaned, not wanting to open my eyes at all. I guess I was more tired than I expected.

"Minxie... Please wake up!" A voice pleaded. Wait... How did they know me? Oh, man... Now I need to open my eyes because I'm curious...

So, I opened my eyes. And... I instantly regretted it.

Why? Because in front of me were my friends, my friends from the real world. Kylie, Josh, and Mitchell were surrounding me, all of them with concerned eyes.

My eyes widened, and I bolted up from my spot, my head whirling around as I took in my surroundings. I was... On my front porch? WHAT THE HELL!?

"What... Where am I?" I asked.

"On your front porch... Are you okay, Minx?" Mitchell asked, eyeing me weirdly.

"WHAT!? NO! I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ON MY FRONT PORCH!" I exclaimed, stomping my foot on what I realized was my front porch.

"Err... Where are you supposed to be, then?" Josh asked, his eye twitching.

"In the ninja world! Where else!?" I said, putting my hands on my hips.

"Okay. She forgot to take her medication today..." Mitchell concluded, and I punched his shoulder.

"I'm being serious! SEND ME BACK, DAMNIT!" I barked, crossing my arms over my chest stubbornly and stomping my foot again as I glared up at the sky.

Then, the fact that these three people were my best friends finally clicked. My eyes widened as I stared at Kylie, the girl I'd been missing since I went to the ninja world.
