"Good morning sunshine." My dad smiled as I walked downstairs.
"Morning." I mumbled.
It was only 7:15 and I had no business being awake. Still in my pj's, I walked outside to take in the gray semi dark skies. All of a sudden I was greeted by a small figure running straight towards me, followed by a larger, more human figure. Once close enough to see, I laughed as a small dog ran up to my feet, and none other than Jc was right behind.
"Wishbone!" Jc called after the frantic animal.
"This yours?" I giggled, picking up the dog.
"Yeah," he sighed, taking the dog from me. "I see you met Wishbone, he's a little rowdy this morning."
"Let me guess, you went to take him out and he took off?" I laughed, pointing out that Jc was only wearing a pair of O'Connor football shorts.
"Hey hey hey, you're outside half naked to, do you even have a dog?" he chuckled.
"I was grabbing a sweater! Perv." I scolded, playfully swatting the sweater at him. "I've got to get ready, but I'll see you at school?"
"Oh, I don't go to Brandeis." He shrugged, grinning slightly.
"Did you graduate?" I asked, completely confused.
"Nope, I go to OC."He laughed, tugging at his shorts.
"So then shouldn't we be rivals?" I laughed. "But for real, why were you there yesterday then?"
"Oh, uh, I was dropping off my girlfriend's Lariette uniform." He stuttered.
"Oh. Right. I need to get ready, I'll see you around."
"Wait, the 1604 bowl is tonight. Are you going?"
"What's that?"
"The Brandeis-OConnor game. Want to go with me?"
"I guess so yeah."
"Great. I'll come by around 5, we can go eat before the game." he smiled before taking off running with Wishbone tucked at his side.
So he has a girlfriend? Great.

As soon as I parked my car, I spotted Sam, Kian, and Andrea sitting in the bed of a truck. I would've prayed they didn't see me but it was too late, Sam was already calling me over.
"Morning guys." I smiled.
"Morning beautiful." Kian and Andrea said in unison before turning to each other and bursting out laughing.
"Wow." Sam said, staring.
"What? Is there something on my face?" I whined, touching at my face.
"No! You just look really good today." he smiled. Well I would hope so, I don't wear dresses for the hell of it!
"Sam's right." Andrea piped up. "We have to go shopping together, I love your style!"
"Thanks." I smiled, tugging at the sides of my black and floral print dress. My black gladiator sandals might of been a mistake though, my feet were starting to get cold, fast! "I'm gonna head inside, it's a bit cold." I grinned before turning to walk off.
"Wait, I'm coming too!" Sam called, catching up to me. "Want me to carry your bag?" he asked as I was pulling out my binder.
"No thanks, I've got it." I smiled.
"So, you know Caylen?"
"Who?"
"Caylen, Jc Caylen."
"Oh, yeah, he's my neighbor, sorta."
"Oh."
"Why do you ask?"
"When we were walking outside yesterday you stopped walking for a split second when you saw him. So I was just wondering."
"Oh, sorry."
"It's cool. His girlfriend though, she's a bitch, but he's a player, so be careful."
"Sam, I don't have a thing for him. Don't worry."
"Well good. Now, are you going to the game?" He smiled, tugging at his orange school shirt.
"Yeah. I'll see you there?"
"Most likely. See you next period." he smiled, before walking away. I hadn't even realized we were outside of my classroom.
Surprisingly the day seemed to fly by. History was boring, so I fell asleep. Photography was fun as I went off with "the gang" as Sam called it. English was boring too. Once lunch rolled around I was in dire need of some more fun.
"How was english?" Sam asked, smiling, as he walked up.
"A bore, I fell asleep!" I laughed.
"Yeah Mrs. Boone isn't too fun." He chuckled. "We were thinking about going to whataburger, you down?"
"Definitely, I want to leave." I sighed, pulling my plain black jansport backpack higher on my shoulder.
"Here," he said, reaching for my bag and throwing it on his free shoulder.
"Sam you look ridiculous carrying two bags, give it back." I laughed, reaching for my bag.
"Nope! Pretty ladies shouldn't have to carry anything."
"Fine." I pouted, hugging my binder close to my chest as he reached for it.
"Come on give it." he chuckled, taking my binder and putting it on top of his own.
"I can carry my own things." I pouted.
"Yeah I know." he smiled.
"Selena!" Andrea squealed from down the hall.
"Andrea!" I laughed as she hugged me.
"You're coming with us?" Kian smirked.
"Yeah, if it's okay with you?" I smiled.
"Of course!" Andrea piped up before Kian could say anything. "Let's go, I'm starving!"
"We better go before she leaves us." Kian chuckled when Andrea took off towards the parking lot.
"She would too." Sam laughed, picking up my hand.
"Sam?"
"Less talking. more catching up to them!" He laughed, as he being jogging towards where Kian and Andrea were, dragging me after him.
Before I knew it we were all sitting down munching away at the food in front of us.
"Geeze, you guy's eat like dudes!" Kian laughed at me and Andrea. We had both gotten triple meat burgers.
"I'm starving shut up!" Andrea hissed.
"What she said." I laughed.
"So you ready for the game tonight?" Sam piped up.
"Yeah, I'm going with,-" before I could even finish, speak of the devil himself walked in. "Jc."
