Just like that, I came home to an empty house. Jc was on a plane back to Texas, and my dad was somewhere out there with my mom.
A loud sigh escaped my lips as I plopped down on to the very couch Jc had slept on. Even though he hadn't stayed very long, not having him around was definitely weird.
**Jc's pov**
Letting her go was the most heart breaking thing I've had to ever do, so far. I couldn't even look back at her, I didn't want her to see me crying.
Now here I am, in my bed, where I've been since I got home 6 hours ago.
2 a.m. came by a lot faster than I anticipated.
But 2 a.m. meant iChat and that meant seeing her again, even if only through a screen. Picking up my laptop I got nervous, just like I did every time.
One ring.
Butterflies.
Two rings.
I bit my lip.
Three rings.
"Yeah?" She sleepily answers.
"Hi baby." I grinned.
"Hi." She softly smiled, the tips of her mouth curving slightly, her eyes mostly shut. "Sorry, I was finishing up some work, I must've fallen asleep. I would've called earlier I just didn't want to bug you."
"You're never bugging me. I was just laying here. I would've called, I just knew you wanted to finish that packet." I shrugged, well sort of shrugged since I was laying on my side with my head in my propped up hand.
"How was your flight?" She groaned, moving to get comfortable to lay the same way I was.
"Sucked. This lady was shaving her legs across the aisle from me." I chuckled as she laughed.
"That's disgusting!" She laughed until she came to a stop. "Jc?"
"Yes Selena?"
"You never told me what your best day was."
"My best day? There's been a few. But they've all been with you." I grinned.
"Well like that days?"
"Like the first day I saw you, or when we went to the 1604 bowl, even though it got a little ruined, and especially the passed couple days."
"Jc?"
"Yes Selena?"
"I love you."
"I love you too."
