"How was your weekend trip?" Sam smirked at me, plopping himself on my bed.
Monday morning came quickly, and Sam decided to stop by before school. Of course he woke me up earlier than I would've liked to be awake and I looked like hell.
"It was fun." I shrugged.
"I heard a certain someone made an appearance." He eased into the subject.
I let a loud sigh escape. Alex had shown up to the Stars game, completely out of nowhere. Apparently he was in town and Enrique thought it'd be a nice surprise to invite him up to the suite without telling me.
Jc hasn't talked to me since.
"It was definitely something." I shrugged.
"Have you seen Jc's vlog? It went live this morning." Before Sam could even finish, I was pulling it up.
Clips of our car ride to Dallas played before he popped up on the screen "What's up guys, Jc here." He seemed to be staring at me. He was standing on the balcony at the apartment. "Isn't this view great? Anyways, I'm in Dallas with someone very special to me. Just a friend so no need to freak out, for now." He smirked. "And now we're heading out! Say hi Sel." I came up on the screen giving a small smile. Clips of our walk to the shuttle, the ride, and us walking up into the suite played after with a Hoodie Allen song playing over them. :Luckily he cut out the babe I accidentally let slip. More clips of the game and the two of us laughing together played and I couldn't help but smile. Just when I thought it was going to end, Jc popped back up, in his room at home. "I just wanted to say thank you to Selena for gibing me one of the best weekends I've ever had. So if you're watching this, which thanks to Sam you are, thank you." He grinned, giving a few taps to his phone. Finally the video ended.
"You set me up." I laughed. Sam grinned handing me my phone. Of course I had a text from Jc.
Let me show you I'm serious, be ready by 4. (;
Oh boy.

After Sam left, I found myself pacing around in my room. What was this feeling? More than like, but less than love. Maybe it was love, but how would I know?
3 came around a lot quicker than I thought it would. What was I even supposed to wear? Since it was slightly chilly outside, I decided on a pair of khaki shorts and Jc's sweater. Not too warm but not too little so I wouldn't be cold. My hair got thrown up into a high top knot just before there was a knock at the door. Quickly throwing on a pair of brown sandals, I regretted not painting my nails earlier.
"You look great." Jc smiled when I opened the door. His arm reached out, waiting for me to grab on. "Shall we?"
I laughed before taking his arm. "I could've sworn you hated me after Saturday."
"I'll admit I was a little mad." He shrugged as we climbed into his car. "But then I thought about it. You payed attention to me, not him. Yeah he's good looking and tall and buff, you could've ditched me to catch up with him but you didn't. I think what really impressed me was when he called you babe and without hesitation you corrected him."
We both laughed. Jc meeting Alex had been a total nightmare. As soon as Alex laid eyes on Jc and I together, he had tried everything in his power to get me away from him.
"I told you, I don't have feelings for him anymore. I miss him, but not him. I miss who he was, and the friendship we used to have. Seeing him this weekend though, I don't even know who he is anymore. It happens though." I fiddled with my hands. The city passing by me, I realized we were heading downtown.
"Hemishpere park sound good? I planned a little picnic." He grinned.
Within moments, thanks to Jc's speeding, we were parked and walking out to an empty space in the grass. Jc had a basket in one hand, a blanket over a shoulder, and my hand in his free hand. As weird as it was, nothing ever felt so right. Almost like this jack ass was made for me.
"Sel," his voice snapped me back to reality. "I know I messed up but I need you to know that I'm willing to work on myself if you're by my side." The look in his eyes said he was sincere. "So, what do you say?"
Before I could say anything, he opened up the basket. Taking me by surprise, two balloons popped out. One pink, one yellow. The words "Be Mine?" Were scrawled across both of them.
"So?" He gave a soft smile.
"Well, is there even any food in that thing?"
