Chapter 20 : Im Sorry

•Months Later•

I'm sorry I should've told you this
earlier " said Daniel
"Why didn't you tell me you were gonna go on tour ... TODAY !?!" I yelled
"I'm sorry April , I really am . "

I covered my face with my hands and began to silently cry .

"Y-you always do t-this to me " I sobbed
"I know and I'm sorry , I didn't know how to tell you ... But I'll be back in a week ."
"IN A WEEK ?!?" "
"Babe I know your mad , but please forgive me , I gotta go , I need to catch the airport now . I'll call you once I arrive in San Diego . I love you " Daniel said as he kissed my forehead

I nodded .

Daniel got his stuff and left . I felt so alone . Why does he always have to go on tour all the time ? It makes me so upset . It's been months ever since I've talked to any of my friends . I don't know what I'm going to do with Daniel not being around .

Grayson's POV : it's been months and I haven't talked to April . I actually didn't really care , but at the same time I did . I missed her Laugh , Smile , Eyes . Everything ! I don't know why I let her slip away from me in the first place .

I really wanted to talk to her , but I feel like she would just reject me . I then decided to text her .

To April 💛 : Hey April
From April : Hi Grayson
To April : How are you
From April : Okay I guess 😔
To April : What's up are you okay ?
From April : No , Daniel went on tour and now I'm all alone 😔💔
To April : Would you want to hang out today ?
From April : Uh yeah sure
To April : Where to
From April : Uhm I don't know .. How about we just go to the mall
To April : Okay sounds good . Ill see you in a bit 😛

April's POV : Talking to Grayson was pretty awkward . I mean he's my ex boyfriend ! I've never heard of a girl hanging out with her ex boyfriend! But it's just Grayson . What could go wrong , I mean it's not like I still have feeling for him .

At The Mall

"So your not going to be a father " I asked
"Nope , don't you remember ? Chloe was faking it this whole time !" Said Grayson
"I actually don't like remembering that day "
"How come ?"
"What do you mean how come Grayson ? You saw my boyfriend ! It's awkward !"

Grayson and I didn't talk much . We continued walking around the mall until fans came up to us .

"OMG GRAYSON & APRIL !!!!"
"ARE YOU & APRIL BACK TOGETHER ?!?"

Grayson didn't really want to talk , so I spoke up .

"We aren't together , we're just hanging out , Besides I have a boyfriend !"

The fans walked away leaving me and Grayson alone . We then stopped and sat to eat at the food court .

"Listen April , I'm really sorry "
"For ?" I asked
"For everything ! I was such a dick to you , I'm sorry for the way I treated you when we were back in Chicago . "
"Grayson..."
"I'm being serious , Everything that happened over there was real ! And every word! You just can't throw something away that you once had ."

I was getting so frustrated .

"I know that Gray ."
"Then , why can't we just start over "
"Grayson I have a boyfriend . I can't do that to Daniel "
"Oh yeah right ." He frowned
"How about we just be friends ."
"Friends ?"
"Yeah friends , "
"You're kidding right April ?"
"Nope . Not at all ."

We started laughing .

"I missed talking to you April "
"Me too Gray ."
"So , Uhm how are you and Daniel ."
"Me and Daniel are great ! He's so sweet ! He's always there for me , he makes me feel so special . "
"I'm happy to here that . One question "
"Ask away "
"Are you in love with Daniel ?"

Daniel's POV : Once I was on the plane , everything was going pretty good . Fans were tweeting with excitement ! I missed April already ! I then tweeted ,

Yes , once again I wrote a song . It was about and for April . She just inspires me in some type of way . I just love her to pieces. She is my world ! Once again today was going to be a dream come true ! Not until the accident happened .
