Chapter Twenty-Six – Let you go

(Jeh's POV)

I tried to close my eyes and sleep but unfortunately, hindi talaga ako makatulog.

"Haay..."

She's really here right? She's really here with me right?

But why am I feeling this way?

It's true. I wanted to ask her all those things... Kaso... Is this really okay? Tama ba itong ginagawa ko? Or am I blocking her way...

I sighed again.

Akala ko kapag nahanap ko na siya ay magiging okay na ang lahat.

Pero... Parang hindi...

Tumayo ako sa sofa and naglakad papunta sa kwartong tinutulugan niya. I opened it and natagpuan siyang tulog na tulog.

If you can see her sleeping face, you won't know that this girl is an extra ordinary one. She really has this innocent face.

"Haay... I really don't know what to do. Should I keep you? Or just let you go again?"

I stood up and returned to the sofa to rest my mind.

(Sky's POV)

When I woke up, amoy ko ang nilulutong sinangag. Then my senses came to me. I almost forgot what happen.

How should I face him? Naaahhh... Hayaan ko na lang. And besides, I have no plan on staying here.

I was about to get up when I heard the door opened kaya napahiga ulit ako.

Damn...

"Hey... Get up. Umaga na."

I didn't respond.

"Don't worry I will bring you to them – to that kid." He said and left the room.

I froze for a second after hearing what he said.

Ano daw? Is he... Is he letting me go?

I immediately wash my face and lumabas sa kwarto.

He was there in the dining room preparing the breakfast. Just like yesterday night, he's quiet. Hindi ko mabasa kung anong nasa utak niya.

"What? Don't just stare at me. Sit and eat." Aniya at umupo na din sa harapan ng uupuan ko.

I didn't say a word again at umupo na ako.

While we were eating, silence fills the place. Ni walng isa ang nagsasalita sa amin. Or more like, malaki ang pinagbago niya.

Dahil doon, I didn't notice that I sighed and nakita niya iyon.

He looked at me. "What?"

My eyebrow curved. "What? " Inulit ko lang din.

"You sighed." Aniya.

"Bawal ba?" Naiirita kong sagot.

"Did I say na bawal?" He answered.

I rolled my eyeballs and itinuon na lang atensyon ulit sa pagkaen.

"When you're done, take a bath at ihahatid na kita." Aniya.

I didn't bother to ask at binilisan ko nalang ang pagkaen since I can't stand it anymore.

I took a bath and after that ay nakita ko siyang naghihintay sa akin sa sala.

"Done? Let's go."
