Chapter 2 : Do I like her?

Lucas's pov:

I was in my locker with Josh and Farkle. They both were talking about the show Voltage, then I saw Maya Hart walking down the hallway and I just couldn't help to stare. I think Josh and Farkle noticed.

"Hey man, I see you've been checking out the new girl" Josh said with a creepy smile on his face.

"No way. She's probably just another spoiled brat" I said denying.

"Yeah right. I saw you staring at Maya all heart eyes-y and unicorn with rainbows" Josh said, laughing at me.

"Even if I did, I don't have a chance with her"

"Hey, you're a great guy! Any girl would be lucky to have you" Farkle said and I rolled my eyes in response.

"Whatever I'm going to class" I said as I walked away to English. Then I accidentally bumped into someone.

"I'm so sorry" she said in a soft voice. I look up and I stare at her beautiful crystal blue eyes.

"Hi, I'm Lucas" I extended my hand.

"I'm Maya" She said as she shakes my hand.

"Well, I gotta go to class. See you later?" I said, smiling at her.

"Yeah, see you around" she said as she walked away.

Then Josh and Farkle came out of nowhere. "So I see you finally have the guts to talk to Maya Hart"

"Shut up" I said, a little pissed off as I start walking away to class.

"Our little boy is growing up. He finally found a great girl Josh" I rolled my eyes when I heard what Farkle said as he cried a bit.

Maya's pov:

I was entering the class and I saw that Lucas was staring at me. I couldn't help but blushed, but I tried to hide it with my hair as I sit on a chair next to him. Then, the teacher came in and start talking about a book called "How To Killed a Mocking Bird". I kept thinking about what just happened between me and Lucas. I know it's not a big deal, but for me it is.

I glanced at him. And then, he looked at my direction and smirk at me. Great job Maya, now he probably know that you like him.

The time passed by so fast. The bell rang and I walked out the door with Riley.

"It's almost 12.00 let's go to lunch" I nodded.

We entered the cafeteria and waited in the line with our tray. We went to an empty table and sat down. We started talking about random stuff. Then, I see Lucas, Farkle and a boy with a dark hair walking towards our table. Then the next thing I know is that Lucas was sitting next to me.

"Hey Maya" He said, smiling at me.

"H-hey... How do you know my name?" I asked him and he chuckled.

"We talk earlier remember" Really Maya?? Why the hell are you so stupid.

"Oh yeah" I awkwardly said, looking to the ground.

"I want you to meet my friends. They're both disgusting as hell, so I suggest you stay away from these two" He explains as I chuckled a bit.

"Hi I'm Josh and this is Farkle. He's dating your friend" he said while pointing at Riley.

"Hi I'm-"

"Maya right? Lucas talks a lot about you. He said that you're extremely gorgeous, well to be honest he's not wrong" Josh said, flirting at me.

I looked over at Lucas and his face is really red. I don't know it's because he's embarrassed or because he's jealous because Josh is flirting at me.

School was over, and Riley and I were walking out of the school. "My mom's here to pick me up see you tomorrow or I'll text you" Riley said while waving at me. Then, I go get my car and went home
