Chapter 34 : If this is what it takes

Maya's pov:

I ran into my room with slamming the door. I threw my phone on the bed and sat down on my vanity and looked at myself at the mirror.

"I will do whatever it will takes to be with Lucas again" I spoke to myself.

Lucas's pov:

I was so nervous. I was going to a date with the most beautiful girl. I saw Sabrina coming, I quickly checked myself in the reflection of the glass.

"Hi" I simply said, both of us with a cheesy smile plastered on our faces.

"Hey" She quietly mutters.

"You look nice" I complimented.

"Thanks" She said.

"Uh... Let's go inside" I nervously said.

We got inside and went up to the desk and grabbed our shoes and walked to the lane all the way in the back. We sat down and put our shoes on.

"I am gonna crush you!" I teased her.

"Yeah? You wish" She smirked.

"Alright, let me show how to do it" I said while grabbing a ball. I focused on the pins and roll the ball. Perfect strike!

"Wow, I'm impressed Lucas. But sorry, I can do it way better" She smirked at me and rolled her balls and quickly the ball made a strike.

"You suck" Sabrina said to me, laughing.

The score is God knows what, all I know is I'm losing. It was my turn again. I pick up the bowling ball. I took in a big breath and began speed walking to the bowling lane, I closed my eyes and slung my arm from the side of me with all the power ghat I had and released the ball out of my hand. I opened my eyes, and YAZZZZ! STRIKE!

"Let's see if you can beat that Sab" I teased her and she rolled her eyes in response.

"Oh yeah? beat this"

I watched her pick up her ball and rolled it. Just what I thought, she strikes again.

Tonight ultimately was fun. Good, exciting, but also confusing. I felt amazing every time I'm around Sabrina, but I felt like I was with Maya. Every time I'm with Sabrina, I feel exactly the same way with Maya. Is it because I'm in love with Sabrina?
