Chapter 4 : Jealousy

Maya's pov:

I was getting my stuff from my locker, until I heard Riley coming out of nowhere.

"Why didn't you tell me that you go on a date with Lucas??" She asked me, kinda pissed off.

"Wait, how do you know that?" I asked her, really confused before she handed me a Tiger Beat magazine with me and Lucas leaning in as the cover.

"Seriously?! Maya Hart quitted 'Girl Meets World' for a handsome mysterious man?" I read the cover of the magazine out loud.

"It's like everywhere I go, there's always someone watching me! This sucks! Can't a girl go on a date without some weird creepy man following her?!" I said, basically shouting.

"Okay.. Calm down Maya" Riley said with a soft voice. "Let's not talk about that part, and focus more on the part THAT YOU AND LUCAS ALMOST KISSED?!"

"Well actually.. We did kissed" I tell her as I start turning red.

"What?!" She shouted, really shocked.

"Yeah.. It was amazing. We were at the front of my house and just when I was about to get out of the car, He kissed me!!! AHHH!! It was magical! It feels like a freaking tsunami is happening inside my heart, brain and body!"

"Well someone's in love" Riley teased me and I rolled my eyes in response as we both walked into History.

Then, Mr. Matthews came in and started teaching about feelings. How feelings can destroy friendship and growth. I really don't want to listen to this shit.

About 45 minutes later, the bell rang. Lucas, Josh and Farkle came up me and Riley

"Hey Maya? Are you feeling alright?" Lucas asked me really concern.

"Yeah, I'm fine" I nervously replied. God, I probably sounded really stupid.

"You sure? You don't look fine. You're face is really red" He asked me again. He's so adorable I can't help it!

"Positive" I replied. Positive? Really Maya? What kind of people say positive? Great now he probably thinks I'm a loser.

"Okay.." He said, sounded confused. "You wanna go have lunch?"

"Sure" I simply replied.

We all walked to the cafeteria and sat on an empty table with our food that we just bought.

"Hey guys, the Spring Formal is in two days!" Riley said, breaking the silence.

"Really??"

"Yeah, I can't wait" She replied, sounded really excited.

"Well shit, I still haven't got a date yet"

"Don't worry, someone will asked you. If they don't, it's because everyone in school are stupid and blind" When Riley said that, Lucas stared at me as my face starting to turn red.

After we finished lunch, I went to my locker to get my English notebook until a guy with blonde hair came up to me and blue eyes came up to me.

"Hey there Juliet" He greeted me "Are you still looking for a Romeo to take you to the Spring Formal?"

"That's the shittiest way to ask a girl out" I say rolling my eyes. "And plus, I don't even know you"

"My name's Cole Ryan and I'm going to be your future boyfriend" He smirked.

"You wish asshole" Lucas came out of no where, looking really pissed.

"What do you want Friar?" Cole said, kinda annoyed.

"Stay the hell away from Maya or-"

"Or what Friar?" He cuts him off and Lucas grabbed his collar and pushed him against the locker.

"If you ever come near her again, I swear I'm gonna kill you" Lucas crunched a whisper while staring into Cole's eyes with hateful eyes.

"Alright man I'm sorry, I didn't know she's your girl" He said, apologizing.

Lucas let go of his shirt and Cole quickly run away like a little chicken.

"Calm down Friar" Lucas whispered to himself while sitting on a bench.
