Chapter 2: Rehab

I peeked inside the clinic; grimacing, grey walls and white floor tiles; what a lovely place (note the sarcasm).

I can't believe they sent me here.

*a few hours earlier*

"I'm back you guyss!" I chirped in my Scottish accent trying to act positive. The whole team grinned and I felt a little pair of arms around my waist. "Are you okay Jesy?" Daniel asked. "I'm good you little midget you!" I grinned picking him up in my arms and cuddled into his little body.

"Hey Jes." Leigh-Anne's arms wrapped around me in a hug followed by the rest of the team. "Hi guys." I smiled although I was heartbroken on the inside.

"So are you going to come back! We need you!" Ava asked me hopefully; my heart throbbed from the news Perrie and the doctor had brung to my attention.

"Er-I..." my voice crumbled; I coughed trying to cover it up. The team stared at me. "No, they're sending-me away." I finally said staring straight ahead; my eyes brimming with tears, there were several gasps and no's around the group while they embraced me again. "Is this true!?" Lea went up to our coach Kim. She nodded quietly, I sighed feeling numb, I couldn't believe it-I don't remember swallowing that many pills, I only took one this morning for my shoulder. Perrie was there.

"What about me?" Daniel asked quietly. I decided to leave him here with Perrie and Leigh-I trusted them with my life. "You're staying with pez and Leigh." I told him hugging him into me feeling his arms tighten around my neck. "But I want to be with you." He said quietly.

"Sorry buddy, but you're going to be safer here." I kissed his forehead.

"I have to go to the clinic now though." I set him down and let Leigh hold him in her arms.

"I can come with you if you want babe." Perrie looked at me. "No, you've had enough to deal with love, I appreciate it but it's better that you go and rest." I kissed her forehead. "Are you sure?" She asked. I nodded feeling guilty but I knew she's done enough. "Yes, now go home and rest-all of you!" I ruffled their heads trying to be enthusiastic and gave them a group hug. "I love you guys, you will win." I said. "We love you too Jes." They replied and they all kissed my cheek before they left, Daniel gave me a hug and walked out holding Leigh's hand.

Perrie stood in front of me. "Leigh can take you home, they told me to go as soon as possible." I walked up to her slipping on my jumper over my shirt. "I love you." She sighed looking at me.

"Love you too. Hey, what's up?" I asked her. She was acting slightly different. "Nothing's wrong." She tried to smile; I wasn't convinced. "I know something's wrong pez, you can talk to me." I said patting her cheek. She still didn't say anything, I waited.

"I'm just scared." She mumbled resting her head on my shoulder. "Scared about what?" I urged her. "I don't want to be away from you." She confessed.

"You won't." I said.

"I don't want to loose you." She blurted out. I stood seeing how she bit her lip. "Come here." I opened my arms. She walked into my hug tightly wounding her arms around me. "Stay." She begged, I kissed her cheek. "I have an appointment, but of course I'm going to come back, I'll come to yours tonight if you'd like." I stroked her soft blonde hair. "Yeah, I'd like that." She smiled slightly. "Okay, I have to go, tell Leigh I'm sorry and that we will stay in touch and Daniel too." I told Perrie. "I will, she will understand babe, he'll see you tomorrow." She wrapped her petite arms around me; I pulled her close to me trying to feel her warmth; I pressed a kiss to her lips and let my lips linger on her forehead before she left walking out of the swim arena.
