(Jade)

I spent the rest of the day accompanying Jesy at the pool with Summer, Coby, Kevin, and Kelsy. They chatted to my friend easily, I'm glad or else I would've been heartbroken if they didn't get along, they're all such great people.

I came back throughout the rest of the week with my friends, or sometimes on my own after footba-er I mean soccer practice. Jesy and I also have been getting closer apart from my friends, she's a little hesitant to open up to me but she knows I'm ready when she is.

"Hey Jadey!" Jesy jogs down the path of the pool when I stepped out of my car. "Jesminda!" I whisper-shouted running to my friend like a three year-old spotting their mam. She laughed and picked me up easily, twirling me in a circle and put me down giving me a hug. "Hi." She whispered in my hair. "Hellers." I smiled back. We then casually linked arms and began to walk to the pool.

"So Jadey, I wanna go and explore the city today! Wanna come?" Jesy said while opening the pool door for me. "What time?" I asked, I had left my soccer things back in the car. "Well I was thinking of going once I finish my shift and have a quick shower." She told me in a Yorkshire accent. I find it adorable when she does that.

"Alright, I'll come, I need to drop off my footb-soccer things off at the flat before we go." I cursed my British origins for mis naming the sport-yet again. "Just say football, haha, I know what you mean." Jesy laughed.

"Sounds good Jesminda." I smirked at her nickname, she blushed. "Hey!"

"Couldn't resist."

"Is that cause I'm so irresistible!" Jesy said walking ahead and dramatically flipped her hair, I then realized there was a pole not too far away. "Jesy!-eek!" I flinched when she walked straight into it. I then began to laugh, this was hilarious! Jesy was completely red in the face, neither of us saw it coming! Well I sort of did but not completely may I say.

"Right, ya done laughing mate?" She said in an angry Scottish man accent, I collapsed on a beach chair laughing my arse off. It took me a bit and then I finally stopped.

"Okay, I'm done." I giggled. "Good, now I'm going for a little dip since no-one's here yet." She stuck her tongue out at me and striped off her clothes then dived straight into the pool. I shook my head mockingly then pulled off my muscle shirt and running shorts then jumped in with her. "CANNONBALL!" I yelled while Jesy watched my stupidity in amusement.

The water soothed my slightly aching muscles while I kicked back to the surface of the pool. When my head popped up I saw a small and neat circular puddle of water around the very edge of the pool. "She came in like a wrecking baaaall, all she ever did was make me faaaaaall, all she ever did was wreck meeeee, yeah, she wrecked meeeeee." Jesy sang obnoxiously causing me to laugh once more. "You're so mean." I splashed her with water. "Don't mess with the master Thirlwall!" She shot an arc of water in my face. "Oh I'll get you!" I shouted in an old man voice.

"Oh bring it on old man Thirlwall!" She mimicked me jokingly. I gasped then ran out the pool searching for the water guns. I found the large orange one and jumped at Jesy. "Aaah!" She yelled swimming away while I loaded the tank and turned to her, she had grabbed one of the kickboards. "HA! Take that!" I cheered squirting her with water, trying to get to her around the board. "No! I've been shot, somebody save me!" She dropped the board sinking below the surface.

I made a little victory cheer, ha! Then I saw that Jesy had disappeared. "Jes? Oi where'd ya go?" I asked looking towards the deep end of the pool, nothing. "Jes?" I asked slightly unsure then felt something behind me-SHARK.

I screamed feeling something wrap around my waist and pull me out of the water momentarily, I panicked. "CLOWN SHARK!" I screamed flailing wildly.

The person put me down giggling uncontrollably, Jesy. She had snuck up behind me. The cheeky little nut! "I take you don't like clowns or sharks Jadey poo." She giggled. My face was red, I mean I know it's stupid-being scared of a clown, but still! And sharks, well that's explainable you know. "No I'm not Jes, thanks." I huffed crossing my arms over my chest. She laughed even more, ugh, I sunk through the water and began to submerge myself. "Aww baba!" She cooed before my head went under.
