(Jesy)
"So you can sit over in the front VIP rows or if you'd like to be in the crowds, either way but well...I reserved you a seat in the VIP section." Jade said while we walked around the stadium. I smiled in excitement, seeing the arena while we were on the field. "Aw thanks baba, I'll think about it for a bit." I smiled taking her hand. "Show me the food stands please?" I begged. She burst out into laughter at hearing my request. "Okay, okay." She laughed pulling me closer to her. "Can I ask a favor before I do?" She though for a minute. I giggled. "What may that be?" I asked, she shrugged innocently and scooted closer to me. I got the hint. "I want some encouragement." She stated leaning dangerously close to me.
My chest fluttered uncontrollably at how close we were. "Erm, I-uh, of course b-baba." I stuttered stupidly, mentally banging my head against the wall. She giggled lightly causing another explosion of butterflies to erupt in my belly. "Jesy, you're so beautiful." She whispered, even if nobody was in the stadium yet, I didn't need anyone else to hear her words. "You're truly amazing Jade." I answered connecting our foreheads together, meeting her beautiful light brown orbs, she blushed lightly but we both leaned in and our lips connected. I felt her arms wrap around my neck, mine wound themselves around her waist squeezing her gently. She giggled breaking the kiss. "Thank you." She was blushing. I hummed against her lips, kissing her once again, moving our lips slowly together.
"You're welcome." I grinned when we pulled away, I felt that feeling I was experiencing earlier, when we first kissed, I can only think of it as happy, because that's one of the only times I was happy since I moved from the UK. "Now I kinda don't want to go." Jade sighed resting her head on my shoulder. "Well, the sooner it's all over the closer I'll be able to come to asking you a very important question." I smiled softly at the brunette girl in my arms. "Aw do I have to wait to know?" She pouted. "Yep!" I popped the 'p' in my response, chuckling when I saw the pouting Geordie. "I know you'll win baba, I have faith in you okay? And I'll sit in the front." I decided. "You will? Yay!" The pout disappeared from her face. "Alright, now go warm up love." I smiled tapping her nose, eliciting a brilliant smile from the girl. "Okay, will do!" She began to jog away once we reached my seat but stopped and bounced back over to me. "You forget something Jade?" I asked looking down at my things, she giggled and took my bag out've my hands and placed them around her waist. "Hmm, kinda." She wrapped her arms around my neck again and leaned up slightly connecting our lips together once more. I smiled feeling the warmth of her radiating throughout my body. "There." She said when we parted. "Go get em." I pecked her lips. "You got it!" She grinned turning to jog off and disappeared to the locker rooms, I watched subconsciously as the stands began to fill with people but no matter what I kept drifting off to think about the kisses I shared with the Geordie. And for the fact that she was so beautiful and, so...amazing, simple yet witty. Also a bit cheesy, but still, she didn't fail to have me completely whipped.
You could say she's literally got me wrapped around her finger.
Soon the team jogged out to begin their warm-ups, jogging around the field and then beginning simple passing drills, forming defensive triangles, and stretching.
They were playing Houston today, I've heard This was a considerably big game, guess I can find out for myself now though.
The players looked rather fit as well I'll say; lean, built bodies and lovely complexions, lush hair, and well-fitting uniforms, but when I spotted her no one could penetrate the amount of beauty she radiated. Even in a soccer uniform Jade Thirlwall made my heart melt, her shorts loosely hugged her hips and bum, her jersey rippled, lining all her muscles, especially her abs when she moved to receive a pass from another one of her teammates, I hope I didn't look like a creeper, but my eyes widened in amazement. Her long legs hidden beneath her long socks, her hair swung back-and forth in a ponytail, she was perfect in every way.
She spotted me when she came closer to my chair to retrieve a stray ball and smiled at me cutely. "Hi Jes." She said in her cute accent. "Hey baba." I grinned. "You ok?" She regarded me. "Mhmm, you're so cute in that uniform." I smirked eyeing her once more. "Thankss haha." She blushed turning. She jogged back to her teammates sending me a wink before completely turning around. I felt butterflies take over my belly once again, I think they're going to be here for a while now eh?
The team warmed up a little more, careful to not stray over to Houston's side of the field, the other team wore blue while our home color was red and black stripes. By this time loads of people had filled the stands and the ref had called out the teams. The commentator announced the teams as well, and the stadium roared when the teams came out.
"And here we have the two opposing teams, best luck, let's give it up for Houston!" They started, I saw some people cheering loudly in the stands. Then it died down. "Right, so-now let's give it up for Atlanta!" The commentator shouted, the stadium erupted into shouts and screams, some of the players turned to the crowd fist-pumping, including Jade who jumped up and down causing the screaming and excitement to increase. She blushed when she spotted me and turned back around.
The national anthem was sung and the ref began the game, the ball was tapped and the field sprung into action. Houston was in possession of the ball, making their way over to our goal. Jade was calmly stationed in a left midfield position, soon enough she darted forwards whisking the ball away from the on-coming player's possession, racing up the sidelines. Wow, my eyes widened, she was fast. She had made it all the way down while passing to a teammate until they reached the goal keeper's box and fired a shot, the keeper barely deflecting it by a shaking fist.
"Nice shot by Thirlwall, number 23." The commentator boomed, cheers broke through the atmosphere as the teams regrouped. This game was great. Houston strayed pretty close to Atlanta's goal, but it was almost as if Atlanta was playing games with them, letting them graze their keeper box, but not letting them actually omit a point. Pure genius.
"Nice save by Kayla Red!" The commentator boomed when Houston had taken a shot on goal, the red headed keeper however caught the ball square in the chest, maintaining it close to her body while she stood up, kicking it away from her goal. The crowd erupted into encouraging roars and jumped giddily. I even bounced around in my seat, it was so enthusiastic and exciting, I loved the feeling of the excitement and the crowd's positive energy as it rolled over the sections of bleachers. And thanks to Jade I'm here, not cooped up in my flat, I'm out enjoying a soccer game while someone I really admire is playing amazingly well on the field.
Atlanta's team was fairly polished, yet not arrogant thankfully, Jade had said that they preferred to pertain an underdog status, not too fancy, not too poor, just right but a hint of mysteriousness. Houston suddenly fired another shot on the goal, yet the keeper punched it out of the box once more. I saw Jade settling into the pace of the game once more, circling around an opposing player to find open space. A player from Houston, Sanders-number 10 took possession of the ball once again, yet Jade was right besides her. Jade turned to the girl. "Go Jadey!" I shouted when she literally attacked the girl, they fought for possession of the ball until Jade tapped it between the girl's legs and began to take off but slammed into the ground. "Hey!" I growled seeing the other girl had grabbed her arm lightly. The ref called the foul, and soon the play began once more when one of our players took a kick at the ball, number 13-McReed. Damn she could kick, I watched as the ball flew towards Houston's keeper, she knocked it off course while number 15 from Atlanta had made it up field in time and trapped the ball skillfully, then scissored past a Houston player and took her shot, nailing the ball right into the back of the net.
"Goal for Atlanta! Scored by number 15, Abby Daniels!" The commentator boomed, I shot up from my seat jumping up and down seeing the boy next to me doing the same, grinning as he turned my way-wait, that's not just a boy, that's Kevin!
"Je-hey! I didn't know you were here!" He shouted over the noise, recognizing me. "Hey! Good to see you too!" I answered leaning over to hug him. "She's great isn't she?" He asked. "She's amazing!" I yelled back over the noise, he nodded, his kind eyes sparkling with delight. "She's such an energetic nutcase I'm glad she's on the team, she loves soccer you know." He said when the noise had settled to minor yells and shouts. We continued watching the ball dance between the two teams, as if the whole thing were an unpredictable dance, which it could be, you didn't know what happened next, just that there would be more moves and an unpredictable outcome.
"She told me about it, so that's why I'm here, and I'm glad for her too." I smiled seeing my Geordie friend dribbling the ball down the field, zipping between two opposing players and landing a pass to a forward.
"Let's hope this next one is a goal." Kevin leaned back eating some chips. "I'm all set." I laughed leaning forwards jokingly but still watching as Houston made their way down the field, and surprisingly enough one girl bypassed the defensive line. "Oh noo." I bit my lip as Kayla the keeper inched forwards and dove, too late. The ball was in the back of the net. "No! Damn it!" Kevin complained, the stadium went wild again. Jade pursed her lips but shrugged it off, seeing me and smiling. I smiled back blowing her a kiss, it was good that she stayed on her toes. "Goal for Houston! Scored by number 4, Riley Lochs." The commentator boomed, the arena died down once the kickoff was in play. "Damn the Houston fiends!" I said in my southern accent, shaking my fist. Several people laughed with me when I spoke. "Eh well, we can get it back!" Kevin said. I agreed.
"Let's get it back! Come on Atlanta!" A small crowd began to cheer. Kevin and I joined in.
"Come on Atlanta! Atlanta!"
"Atlanta! Atlanta!"
"A. T. L. A. N. T. A. Atlanta!" We shouted, rallying up the team, seeing the keeper join in. "Come on girls! Who are we? We are Atlanta! And we can get it back!" She cheered, the stands erupted into roars as the players echoed the call. Daniels had possession of the ball again, and we all but our nails standing on edge while watching as Jade ran up with her, darting through players. Then they reached the defensive line and number 15 passed back to the Geordie, I watched closely seeing another opposing player charging my friend from the other team. "Look our!" I yelled while Jade looked up, she then cut to the right and the crowd roared when the opposing player went flying past her. "C'mon Jade c'mon baba." I murmured seeing her have a clear shot, the keeper backed up but Jade took her shot. The ball sailed firmly through the keeper's hands and into the top corner of the net. "Yes! It's a goal scored by number 23, Jade Thirlwall!" The commentator boomed, the stands roared, I jumped up with Kevin again. "YES! GO JADE!"
"HELL YAS BRUH!"
"OOH KILL EM!" I called, giggling. Kevin and I were in fits of giggles after that, seeing Jade being mobbed by her teammates and she smiled seeing Kevin and I once more, catching the kiss I blew her. The game progressed until the half-time mark. The game was at its peak, two opposing players from Houston hammering down our sidelines until Jade and a raven-haired girl intercepted them, the ball bouncing back towards the other opposing players. The two then surged forwards towards the Houston girls, advancing rapidly as the red head with possession of the ball was dribbling back down the line. Jade went to interrupt her play, snaking the ball away from her easily and the began to run down the field.

"Ah man, there's the half-time call, damn that was intense!" Kevin sighed, the stands emptied a bit while spectators took advantage of this time to get something to eat or drink and whatnot. "I'm going to sneak something, come with?" He offered. I looked back seeing the players exit the field. "Alright." I smiled grabbing onto his arm before I could be swept away by the crowd. He laughed at me. "Oi!" I pouted. "My bad, my bad." He laughed tugging me through the crowd. I thumped his head lightly hearing him mumble 'ouch' and chuckled, now we were even. When we reached the stands we walked through the crowds slowly. We passed by some guys that had a few waters apart from the booze they were drinking. "Act natural." Kevin told me while we walked closer. "Uh, how am I-?" I was cut off as he reached around me and plucked up two waters easily and placed his arm around my shoulders. We saw the guys out've the corner of our eyes but they didn't notice anything yet. The two of us chuckled quietly and uncapped the drinks, taking a sip after making a toast.
"For Jade, and the fact that we were able to see her awesomeness." Kevin said. "To pickle." I laughed tapping his bottle to mine and we sipped the water again. We were almost out've earshot when the guys realized they were missing something. "HEY!" They yelled. "Run! No-walk faster!" Kevin declared. "Will do!" I laughed pulling him back to our seats. The guys soon disappeared from view and we made it to our seats.
We exchanged more words until the half-time show stopped and the game resumed once more. I let myself relish in the positive energy of the game, to soak in the amazement around me, and for Kevin and I to talk and find out more things about each other. I found out he likes skateboarding and playing footie in his spare time, he's also pretty smart and can handle a book pretty well, he was a good guy from what I could tell, except for the fact that he loves sandwiches. I grimaced at that, I mean-I know it's just a sandwich, but. I don't know, they're just... Weird and kinda creepy.
So soon enough we argued over sandwiches until the crowd turned into a roaring frenzy, both of us confused as fuck but I cheered finding out that Atlanta had scored another goal. Jade was incredible throughout the game, always defending well, covering her marks and running the sidelines, distributing the ball, everything. You name it, she was playing real well, I felt like a proud mum watching the beautiful girl.
"Geez I feel like a proud-ass dad watching that Brit play." Kevin about voiced my thoughts. I burst out laughing. "Whaaat?" He whined in a southern accent, I started giggling. "I was thinking the same thing." I said when my laughter died down. He sighed jokingly and laughed along with me.
I don't think I've ever been this happy before, in my new start, but now that I am I'm in love with it, I don't want to mope around.----------------------------------------
