(Jesy)
"That, was amazing!" I was bouncing up and down like an absolute idiot, Jade had scored a final goal twenty seconds before the game was over, having our side in the lead by two points. Atlanta finished the game beating Houston by two. And the crowds were absolutely crazy, completely nuts!
"Man that was sick!" Kevin agreed rapidly nodding his head.
I started to stand and head down into the lower section of the bleachers to exit the stadium, but then Kevin pulled me back. "Wait up! Uh..." He trailed off as a camera walked by us. "Lou." I caught on immediately, relieved I kept my voice down. "We gotta wait, because they have to sign autographs after the game." Kevin told me while I went back to him.
"They do?" I pouted, I think Jade mentioned that earlier but I probably forgot, again. She had told me a fair amount of things about the game today but well, when she's got such a beautiful face concentration just doesn't side with me on that, you know?
"Oh look! They're coming!" Kevin said after laughing at me. I hit his arm lightly and turned seeing the players slowly walking out onto the field once again. I saw the red-headed keeper, Kayla Red smiling softly at the cute little kids going to take a picture with her. The rest of the team soon followed suit, I made nice with a couple of the players as well, one being the girl that scored, Abby, and Kendal a midfielder, they were rather easy going. "Oh so no love for me?" Another voice whined from behind Kevin and I, we both shared a knowing glance and turned to see a tired but cute Geordie handing back a signature to a fan. "Thank you Jade! I like your accent so much!" She smiled, Jade giggled lightly. "Thank you bubs, have a good night!" She said while sauntering over to us lazily. I bit my lip lightly seeing her abs being lined through her jersey once again.
Damn you Thirlwall.
"Well hey there stranger." I pulled off my Australian accent. Jade laughed lightly once more while hugging Kevin. "Hi Lou." She answered back flashing me a cutesy smile. "You did great, I'm feeling like a proud mum!" I said leaning over the barrier leading down to the field. She smiled again walking up to me so that we were inches apart. "I'm glad I made you proud babe." She whispered. I shivered lightly. "Ooh look who it is!" Someone spoke breaking us out of our little moment, Jade turned her face then I watched her smile stitch into a frown.
I watched as another girl made her way to us, being oblivious to Kevin and I. "Oh god no." Kevin groaned and turned on his heel rapidly, disappearing from view.
"Shianne leave me alone." Jade sighed as the girl literally bumped me over. "But I came to see you babe!" The girl pouted. "I won't have sex with you, please back off." Jade backed away from the barrier. "Come on Jadey, we would have the best time ever." The girl smirked. Heat rushed through my veins, she was flirting with what was mine-well, she was going to be mine, very soon.
"I said no." Jade was getting aggravated with 'Shianne'. I took the time to see what a skimpy outfit this idiot was wearing, a fucking crop top and skin tight shorts with cleavage showing. I groaned inwardly, it really wasn't a pretty appearance. "Geez Thirlwall, don't be a downer." She said lightly tugging on Jade's shirt collar, my knuckles cracked slightly from jealousy. Why didn't this little shit know when to stop? "Get off of me, can't you see I'm trying to answer them?" Jade sighed angrily pushing her hand away. "Damn Thirlwall." She said. I coughed awkwardly, already having seen enough.
"Um, who's this?" The idiot asked Jade as she greeted a cute little girl. "I like your bow cutie!" Jade ignored her, tapping the little girl's bow tie necklace. "Thank you." She smiled then ran off. "Babe, who is this?" Shianne asked once again gesturing to me while backing into her.
"God Shianne! Would you leave me the hell alone! Her name is Lou." Jade snapped, Shianne being the idiot she was just laughed. "Where'd you meet her? She can't even talk! What is she, mute?" She scanned me in amusement, my fists tightened once again.
"That's it." Jade mumbled aggressively and slapped the girl's hand away from her arm. The idiot gasped in surprise. "I've said no to you the whole damn year, stop trying to get with me when I'm not interested! In fact you twat, I want someone else!" She hissed, her muscles rippling with anger.
"Come on we want autographs!" Someone called, Jade glared at the idiotic girl. "But I'm so much better. Please babe." The idiot said once more. "Get out!" Jade didn't hesitate to shout. Finally the skimpy blonde decided wisely and scampered away, I watched Jade as she breathed heavily to re-gain her composure. She apologized to the crowd. Then caught my gaze, her fists were still clenched. I nodded at her silent request and hopped the barrier to feel arms wrap instantly around me. "I'm so sorry about her." Jade apologized to me once she'd pulled away. "Don't be. Now finish so that I can tell you what I was talking about earlier." Surprisingly I didn't care anymore, the hooker was gone.
"Sure?" She asked. "Yep, I'll be right by you." I kissed her temple sneakily and locked my arm in hers while we walked up to the crowd.
I watched as Jade greeted fans and talked with them, smiling and laughing at their cute little comments or pulling silly faces with them in pictures, this is why she's so perfect, I love how she's happy doing this, she's happy being Jade. At one point a young boy, maybe 14 years old saw me. "Who's she? If you don't mind me asking." He asked the Geordie. Jade handed back his jersey. "Her name is Lou, and she's one of the bestest people I know. Isn't she lovely?" I still heard her whisper the last part into his ear while she took my hand to pull me into her side again. "Mreah, sweaty!" I joked plucking at her jersey.
She pouted and the boy chuckled. "Well she is, I'm gonna let you guys go now, have a nice night." He said nicely. I was almost shocked, he was so polite! "Nice to see you bud, always be positive." Jade smiled and took his outstretched hand to pull him into a one-armed hug.
There were a few more fans that came over until security ushered them out, a select few VIPs lingered with the players, Kevin had come back earlier then decided to head home once everyone else was gone. Jade and I had bade him goodnight then returned to the signing.
"And it's over now girls, great job! I'm so proud." A tall brunette-haired woman walked over while the remaining stragglers left. The team cheered lightly, still tired from the game. With that they turned and began to chat amongst themselves and head to the locker rooms. I had an idea. "Hey baba." I called to Jade. "Hmm?" She turned. "Meet me out here when you're ready to go." I smiled. She grinned flashing me a cheeky smile. "Will do." She said before jogging into the locker rooms. "Whipped!" Someone whistled after my Geordie friend. She turned around blushing and flipped the bird to her blonde-haired teammate who gasped jokingly.
I blushed as well and turned away searching in my bag for an object. I had bought it yesterday, to give to Jade as a small gift for helping me settle in. However it had a lot more meaning now, thank god I had thought about this before. "Lou?" Someone asked. I looked up meeting Kendal's gaze and smiled at her, she walked over. "You're going to ask her out aren't you?" She smiled.
I froze for a moment, how did she know?! "Oh it's obvious love, you're so sweet to her! And she's so protective and loving around you it's really cute!" She laughed seeing my reaction. "Ah well, she's a lovely girl, and well, erm...yep." I jumbled out. She smiled hugging me. "Go for it, she'll love you." Kendal patted my cheek when she pulled away. "Thanks then." I smiled rubbing the back of my neck sheepishly.
She winked at me and jogged away, calling one last wish of good luck to me before moving completely out of earshot. I looked down at the small bracelet lying in my palm. On it was a bow tie charm along with a J. Hopefully she likes it. I fiddled around with it, placing the bow tie charm on it then took the J in my palm, suddenly realization hit me. Was I ready for this? Was I ready to love someone...again?
Blue eyes invaded my mind once more, I re-visited a few moments with Perrie, her beautiful blue eyes, her amazing blonde locks, but that's all, she wasn't the center of my world, my world had begun to take the appearance of a petite girl that loved bows and braces and was a huge sucker for biscuits. I looked hesitantly at the J, it was for me, Jesy. Giving her the J was as if I was willing to give myself up to her, but do I want that? Do I really? "Wow you're still here." Someone called. I was snapped out've my thoughts, seeing a petite brunette walking out've the locker rooms with a soccer bag, loose fitting sweats, a small black top and converse with damp hair. I smiled closing my fist around the charm, I'm doing the right thing.
"Yeah, still here. I wonder what century we're in now though." I fake-frowned. She blushed murmuring a 'shut up' as she reached me. "I do not take that long." She pouted. I giggled and slipped the charm back into my pocket. "Yeah right, come here you big baby." I smiled holding out my arms. She gladly accepted, hopping into my embrace and wrapped her arms around my neck. "You won!" I squeaked in pure delight picking up the petite Geordie and easily twirled her around in the cool night air. She laughed locking her arms firmly around my neck to stay in place. I set her down bringing her into a hug. "Good job baba." I spoke into her hair. "Thanks for coming to see me." She smiled tapping my nose. Blush tinted my cheeks, I smiled foolishly and studied my shoes. "Aww." She cooed pecking my cheek.
Now was the perfect time to ask her.
Nerves rippled through my belly, come on Jesy, it's going to be fine, you can do it.
"Poopey, I've got a question." I smiled. "And I may have an answer?" She said. I giggled. "Er, well, I don't know what I would've done without you, honestly, ever since I settled into the neighborhood you've been there, and you've been by my side. I've gotten to know you, and we've had good times together. I couldn't ask for a better friend, you're beautiful, talented, amazing, a nut, and a perfect best friend. So maybe you know where I'm headed, I-well, I think I want to take a step further with you Jade, you've helped me get back on my feet, kept me from doing something really stupid, and I owe you for that, so I've got a request." I said nervously slipping my hands into my pockets. She smiled widely nodding.
"Jade, would do me the honor of becoming my-girlfriend?" I grasped the bracelet in my hand, silently waiting for her response, my palms slightly sweating from the nerves. Jade's mouth dropped open and she covered her lips with her hands, no sound came out. I was confused, was she choking?!
"I-wow, holy-fuck-yes! Of course-hell yes!" She gasped jumping up and down before jumping at me and locking her arms around my neck. "She said yes!" I shouted in delight throwing my arms around her to lift her up and twirl her around again, both of us laughing together. I still find it a little hard to believe. I was seriously dating Jade! "I did!" She squealed hugging me tight. I giggled pecking her temple and cheeks. I set her down and then took my hand out of my pocket with the bracelet and charm. "I also had gotten something for you, it was just gonna be a little thank you gift but, well from me as your girlfriend now to you, I'll be by your side." I said opening my palm to reveal the purple bracelet with the bow tie charm. Jade smiled and held out her arm. I fastened the bracelet around her wrist and then took out the J. "Aw Jes! You didn't have to!" She whispered, but the grin on her face let me know it was worth it. "You're worth it, and the J is for me, it means I'll be by your side." I said placing the charm in her bracelet. "Thank you so much Jesy, I love it." She smiled hugging me tight once more. I hugged her back, keeping her close to me.
"I'm glad you do." I smiled, feeling as if I was on cloud nine. And hey, maybe I really was, and I don't want to come down at all.-------------------------------------------------
