(Jesy)
*BOOM* my heartbeat was going mad, the more I fought back the worse the situation, the dark water closed over my head. "Help me!" I screamed, that wasn't helping at all, the water decided to crash into my mouth flowing down my throat. I was dying.
My vision was swimming, but I couldn't find the way up, I heard screams, whispers, swishes of cool water near me. My arms reached out, legs kicked out, but nothing. I saw or found nothing.
Finally my vision was spinning. My breathing was non-existant. I gave up and began to sink to the bottom of the whirlpool of dark water, spots dancing in my vision as the balckness came closer and closer as if it was going to swallow me-"Jesy! I know you're in there!"
*Bang*
"Jesy! Let me in!" A high-pitched Geordie voice yelled snapping me out've my sleep. I shot up with a scream and calmed my shaking body seeing the blanket tangled in my limbs. I'd fallen asleep on the couch. Another knock on the door sounded once more, I stifled a small sob of fright and darted into the bathroom throwing my hair in a bun and splashed water on my face before I answered the door.
"Well it took you a while! I was gonna-hey, what's wrong?" Jade's cheerful smile faded when I pushed a loose strand of hair away from my face. I stepped back to let her in, she stepped inside and closed the door. I bit my lip shrugging while I headed over to the couch to sit. Jade sat right next to me and took one of my hands in her tiny fingers. "Jes, what's wrong? You look like you ran a marathon being chased by-a c-clown!" She shuddered. I chuckled quietly, it's cute how she's scared of circus actors. "It's nothing-it was just a-um, a nightmare." I sighed rubbing my eye to conceal the tear that threatened to fall. Jade scooted closer to me once more and placed her arm around me to pull me into her and stroked my hand with her thumb. "Aw baba, it wasn't real. I've had them a lot, they're just to mess with you." She comforted me. I closed my eyes against her shoulder and let out a shaky breath taking in her fresh scent of lilac on her shirt. I loved how refreshing it was, I felt myself relaxing under her touch. "Thank you."
"Always." She murmured then boldly placed a kiss on my temple. My heart fluttered at that, she was so simple yet caring. "Why did you come over Jadey?" I asked once we settled down. "Well, my game was today, and I wanted to hang out before we have to leave." She stated pulling out something that was placed next to her. I smiled softly seeing biscuits, her favorite. "Biscuit? It'll cheer you up." She smiled. I nodded warmly and accepted a chocolate chip flavored biscuit from the cute Geordie. She warbled in delight nipping at her biscuit and pulled me up leading me over to the piano. I'd installed a piano in my flat since I wanted to learn, Jade played very well and even offered to teach me, now I wanted to hear her play.
"Play me something?" I asked. I saw a slight amount of pink take over her cheeks making her cuter by the second. "I haven't played this whole week." She tried to talk me out of it, I wouldn't take it. "I'll get you extra biscuits." I pleaded, I loved hearing her play. "Aww Jesy, you got me goddamn." She sighed dramatically. I smirked, biscuits were always the key. "Yay." I smiled. She giggled poking my belly before perching on the piano stool, then she turned to me. "Here." She prompted me, tapping the spot next to her. "Won't you need room?" I asked. "I'm alright." She took my hand and sat me down besides her. My heart fluttered at the gesture, this girl had me wrapped around her finger, she didn't know it but she really did. "Well, here goes." She breathed in and set her hands on the keys. It was silent for a moment until the notes sprung to life, the melody flowing from Jade's hands and penetrating the atmosphere, I'd never heard the song she was playing before, but it's absolutely perfect, it's soft at first then a little stronger, then it returns to a peaceful stanza, then springs into a brilliant riff then simmers down once more. I watched Jade as she concentrated lightly on playing the piano, seeing her tongue slightly poking out of her lips, her eyes glowing with a soft aura of concentration and adoration for music, or how her brows scrunched up at certain keys.
Soon I hadn't realized the room returned to its original silence. Jade turned to me, a peaceful smile on her lips, it was returned by me with no hesitation, that was amazing.
"Wow Jade, that was something." I broke the silence. "Thanks Jes, I love that song a lot." She smiled softly. "What's it called? I want to get it."
"Come Sei Veramente by Giovanni Allevi." She answered. "Giovann-what the, I can't even you know what. That is damn hard to pronounce." I didn't even attempt to say the guy's name. Jade giggled quietly. "I know."
"When did you start to learn piano poopey?" I wondered seeing her mess around with some keys on the piano. "Well, I started taking lessons when I was eight back in South Shields, so my piano teacher was actually pretty well-known, he played gigs all over London and toured America then decided to settle in my hometown and started to teach kids how to play, I was interested and me mam was fussing over me listening to classical CD's everyday so she gave in and called him, and boom, I learned piano." She smiled softly while closing her eyes as if to remember the memory. "Wow, that sounds really cool, did he have a beard?" I prompted her, eliciting a giggle from her lips. "No, he had a goatee and kept a beanie on his head all the time." She tugged on her black beanie to emphasize her point. "Oh, well I was close!" I defended.
She just sighed dramatically at me. "Okay maybe." She started to giggle once again. "Whatever, anyways he was so easy to understand, and he told me to create a painting in my mind as I played, the more of a piece I played, the more brush strokes would be added to the picture in my mind, it really worked, it's a beautiful image." Jade said. "What did you think about while playing this?" I asked her out've wonder, there were still many things I didn't know about her, just as she didn't know about me. So much to wander, to explore. "Well, the song is soft mostly, I conjured a sunset and two people sitting side by side on the beach, comfortable, warm, quiet, loved. Then a flock of birds on a glowing tree, Jesy it was beautiful. One of the best images I've ever conjured." She spoke so low, the effect of the music had calmed down my swirling brain, it wasn't hard to hear her. I tried to imagine it. Two people sitting on orange sand, watching the sun go down, two perfectly content people. It was so perfect, so beautiful. "Wow Jade, that really is beautiful." I answered. "C'mere." She agreed, beginning to stand. "Ok." I trusted her, she took my hand and headed towards the stairs leading me along, not pulling, not yapping, not urging, just letting a comfortable silence blanket the two of us and seal us in it's warmth. Jade lead me upstairs and through my balcony then climbed up onto the top of the roof. I smiled seeing the sun rising in the sky. "C'mon, it's an amazing view." She invited me up, I didn't hesitate and found myself sitting comfortably on the roof of my flat with Jade snuggled up in my side. "The two people had their feet in the water and one, I guess the girl was all cuddled up to the guy like this." She mimicked her words resting her head on my built shoulder. I felt warmth in my belly, she smiled seeing me watching her. "The music was faint in the back but it was still there, the wind rippling their hair, and it was absolutely perfect, the sun was setting and they had a content and silent night. It was beautiful." She said turning to me. Silence encased us both, there was nothing to say, she had already said it all. I studied her features silently, taking in the rich scent of Jade, breathing it in. How was it that when I was with this girl that I viewed the world at a different angle? How does she do this?
We watched the sun rise in complete silence and content. As cheesy as it sounds, I felt as if this would be a moment in time I'd never forget.
"This is amazing." I whispered. "Yeah, almost hard to believe I've got a game in three hours." Jade murmured in agreement. "Well isn't that the perfect way to ruin the moment?" I smirked. "Ohh. I'm sorrely sorry." She blushed, I couldn't help but laugh at her cuteness. "Whaaat!" She whined. "Hm? Nothing." I chuckled pulling her on my lap, almost squirming in having her small body placed on my thigh. "Geez Nelson, no need to be so rude." She scoffed. "I wasn't trying to be rude." I defended myself. "You sure about that?" She raised an eyebrow at me. I felt myself blushing at her words. "Yes, I'm sure pickle." I answered her, watching her face scrunch up adorably while she was in thought. "Fine. You're a butt." She sighed. I gasped. "Offensive!" I held my chest as if hurt, seeing her giggle on my lap then she leaned down to place a kiss on my cheek-catching the corner of my lip instead. My laughter was cut off, I nearly choked. She'd literally just...kissed me. The butterflies rumbling in my belly were flooding my senses, I felt myself turning red. Jade held a tiny hand to her lips. "Oh my gosh, Jes, I-I'm so bloody sorry! I know you're not looking for that, and you're getting over Perrie, I was just-I." She leaped off my lap and stood while wrapping her arms around herself. I blinked, still registering the small bit of contact her lips made with mine.
The tingles rumbling through my body were flowing through my being, as if a shock was circuiting through my body, sparks. And-they were stronger than when I was with Perrie. Maybe this was meant to be. "Poopey." I grabbed her wrist before she ran. She gulped in fright turning to face me. I slid my hand down to hers and laced our fingers together to bring her to me. I heard her breath hitch when she stopped inches away from my lips. "Y-you missed." I whispered. I didn't say anything else, watching her eyes flicker to my lips and back, looking to her soft pink lips. "I-I did?" She stuttered. "Yep." I nodded holding her waist lightly, I didn't want to pressure her into something she didn't want. Maybe she just did it by accident. I was going to let her go but her hands rested on both of my cheeks, bringing my attention back to her.
She guided me closer, right up until our noses brushed. Then when I took in a small breath she shut her eyes and leaned in, connecting our lips. My breath hitched feeling her small body press itself closer to me, our lips staying still as they met for the first time. I felt Jade's heart, her hair, her skin, her lips, I felt her as our bodies scooted together. I rested a hand on the small of her back to bring her closer to me, a small gasp escaping her lips as I pecked her lips. She kept both hands stroking my cheeks and leaned up once more to completely press her lips to mine in an amazing kiss. I twirled the edge of her jumper in my fingers and kissed her back deeply, tilting my head for a better angle.
Jade ran her thumbs over my jawline slowly then slipped and arm around my neck making me feel on cloud nine.
She was kissing me, by her own free will too-this is kind of hard to believe, but...amazing. I didn't want to stop, but Jade had a game today and she shouldn't be late-also the fact that she's taking me along is a bit nerve-wracking. I wouldn't like to be discovered, especially when there may be cameras. I'll be fine, I'll be with Jade, I smiled into the kiss feeling Jade mirror my actions.
Soon we had to pull away for air, both of us breathing heavily, still close together. I expected Jade to let me go but instead she held me tightly to her. I held her and wrapped my arms around her waist. She breathed in contently resting our foreheads together. "Baba." I murmured quietly. She flickered her gaze to me. "You're my hero." I murmured, she really was, ever since I met her she's stayed by my side, she's listened to my rants about the UK or how I missed my flat and my friends, she's helped me get around and always offered me biscuits; she was always there for me.
Jade was blushing, I saw the rosey tint rising to her cheeks, she was so cute. She hid in the crook of my neck. "I am?" She asked in the cutest voice, I swear she sounded like a cute little baby. "Yes, I don't know what I would've done here without you." I felt myself star to blush but my heart swelled as I finally relieved the words I'd been holding down for quite a while. "I don't-wow, I don't know what to say." She stuttered while shifting her position. "You don't have to say anything, just know it poopey." I pressed a gentle kiss to her lips then took her hand to help her get down from the roof of my flat. "Okay." She answered.
"Come on baba, you've got a game to play, and I need to see if you really are the bomb." I added after, hearing a small giggle exit the petite girl's soft lips. "I am the bomb, just you wait." She pouted. My heart melted seeing her adorable features clearly displayed on her soft face, her cheek bones and dimples while she spoke and smiled.
"Right Saint Thirlwall, before you get all cheeky on me get your pretty little bum in that footie uniform so we can get going." I smirked trailing my fingers across the girl's shoulder.
"Fine old nelson, I'll see you in a matter of seconds!" She pouted, I giggled seeing her adorable expression take over her features once more. "I'm not that old!" I rejected letting go of her good-naturedely. "Older than me though it's for sure." She winked. "Screw you Thirlwall." I scoffed jokingly seeing her giggle. She bounced over to me one last time and backed me up till my back connected with the wall. "Be right back." She whispered against my lips and leaned up to kiss me. My eyes slid shut and I rested a hand on her waist, letting her kiss me for a moment longer. "See you in a bit." I broke away. She smiled softly then zipped out the door.I couldn't help bringing up a hand to my lips to feel the feint sparks radiating off my lips, she actually kissed me. Jade Thirlwall, the eighteen year-old cutie kissed me, a depressed girl that could possibly ruin her life if the media ever caught on. But she did kiss me back, she even seemed into it. Maybe she didn't have bad intentions, she was so perfect, she was just... I don't even know, she's just... Jade!
"-C'mon Nelson! I gotta go before they chew me out for being late!" A car horn caught my attention, I saw Jade waving frantically from her car, a dark green jeep, did I ever mention her mum is rich as hell? No? Maybe? Okay. I chuckled throwing on black high-waisted shorts and a sleeveless top with the batman symbol in the center, because well, who doesn't appreciate batman? I grabbed black vans, threw up my hair in a messy bun, grabbed a pair of glasses, threw on a bit of mascara and eyeliner, grabbing a snapback incase of the sun; grabbing my bag on my way downstairs.
Jade smiled at me when she spotted me. "Stop looking so gorgeus girl, for real!" She groaned when I set foot in her jeep. I laughed lightly and kissed her cheek. "Well geez, stop complaining because you are the cute one, with that footie uniform." I said. "Yeah right." She snorted. "Just drive cranky pickle." I laughed. She sighed dramatically then pressed the gas pedal, we rode through the neighborhood with the wind flowing through the jeep, the sensation was amazing, the wind rippling our clothes and hair, the sun gave the beautiful Geordie's skin a perfect tan glow, mine was close yet not as dark as the Geordie's. But that doesn't matter, it's just another one of the many things I adore about Jade Thirlwall, it's the little things.
That's it, she's herself, and she doesn't even go out of the way to get my attention, or anything really, she's just herself, every little thing she does makes me smile. And I love it.
