(Jesy)

I felt a bright light on my eye lids, my pillow was so comfortable, relaxed. I popped open one eye lid, the warmth of the sun greeting my face, the morning had come. I opened my eyes slightly, adjusting to the light. The warmth washing over my skin, I stretched leisurely letting a yawn escape my lips.

I lay there for a while longer until I decided to get up and go for a jog. I looked over to the phone on my nightstand, it ready 8:45, I had 15 minutes until I needed to be back, today was my first day of life guarding and my shift was at 9:00.

I got up then tied my hair back, pulling on running shorts, a shirt and sneakers and walked downstairs grabbing a piece of toast and a quick banana milkshake then brushed my teeth and went out the door, plugging in my headphones.

I came outside and looked around, hopefully no one was awake, I wanted a nice and quiet morning run and I was going to have it one way or the other.

Thankfully no one in the neighborhood was in sight, I was free to have a nice morning jog. I set off down the street, plan B playing on shuffle, perfect.

I rounded the park, passed the pool and took the rout back to my house then walked back inside changing into a two-pieced swim suit and threw on the typical red shorts and white shirt with a Red Cross.

What was I going to do if people recognized me?

Oh boy, I mean sure it was private and I registered as Louise Nelson in the pool but someone could easily recognize me and let my identity slip, which would mean cameras, paps, stories, rumors, and more drama. Just the thought of having cameras surround my new flat made my heart race uncomfortably. I did not want any cameras following me yet, I couldn't handle the pressure yet. I looked down at my phone with the picture of Daniel as the wallpaper.

I miss him, Leigh, and Perrie so much.

Not only were they my favorite people in the world, but they also are the best family I've ever known.

My phone lit up with a notification-there were three minutes until I had to open the pool, which was at nine.

"Here goes nothing Jesy." I muttered to myself and grabbed my things walking out the door, locking it behind me and pressed the garage monitor on my keys to open the garage door. I started the car and backed out of the driveway, shucks, I'm two minutes away from being late.

I made it with probably no seconds to spare and grabbed my small bag as I made my way inside, opening the gate to the pool.

This club is really nice, it's surprisingly out of the way for a city neighborhood pool. It had a mini bar, tables, and chairs all around, then the baby pool and there was a tennis court right by the rec room. No one was here, I stretched and looked at the water, the sun's bright sparkle reflected off the pool water, it was a beautiful sight. And since no one is here I can take a quick swim then start, it won't hurt will it? The time said 9:05, a short swim would be fine.

Taking off my shorts and top I dipped a toe in the water, it wasn't too hot or too cold, perfect. I headed to the deep end and dove in.

The water's cool touch met my skin while I kicked back to the surface of the pool, it sent pleasant shivers up my spine. I popped up, breaking the water's surface to feel the sunlight hit my face. I floated on my back looking at the clear blue sky. A few minutes passed, I had to get out of the water now, my mind snapped back to my current situation. I sighed and pulled myself out of the water, easily resting on the side and grabbed my towel quickly drying off and shook my hair, tying it up into a bun and slid on sunglasses.
I heard a car engine, signaling that someone was here. I chewed my lip, here goes, your name is Louise Nelson, you go by Lou. I repeated this in my head and slipped on my shorts and top, hopping on the lifeguard chair.
