Alyssa's POV again
Rebecca and I were catching up and we paused when Kyle walked through the door. "I couldn't find a good one for her. They were all crappy. I'll have to go out of town tomorrow and go to a better store. For now, she can sleep on the inflatable mattress we have in the attic. I'll bring it downstairs and put it in the spare bedroom." "Ok but hurry, it's almost her bedtime." I responded. He jogged up the stairs and soon came back. "It's ready." I walked her upstairs and she laid down. I kissed her forehead. "Goodnight." She smiled. "Goodnight mom." Kyle stepped up to her. "Goodnight." He leaned down and kissed her forehead too. "Goodnight." He said. "Goodnight dad." She responded. We walked out of the room and went downstairs. "I've got some work to do. I'll be in my office if you need me." I didn't really care. He's been busy a lot lately. "Ok, I'll be in here watching TV." I sat down on the couch and turned it on. I quickly lowered the volume. I ended up watching Maze Runner. Then I heard a creak from upstairs. I walked up to check on Rebecca and was shocked at what I saw.
