Shadow's POV

It was a dark beautiful night in the town of Amestris and I was at my two-story hose, which is a hazel brown and black color house, watching Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood in the DVD while eating chips. This is like my life, home alone without a girlfriend on my day off from work doing nothing but watching my favorite anime shows while eating a lot of junk food. Well...I used to have a girlfriend until she died...and I really don't want to talk about it since it gets me so emotional every time.

I'm watching the episode when Winry Rockbell found out that Scar killed her parents and was crying nonstop while aiming gun at him and Edward Elric comforted her preventing her to shoot. Thier relationship reminds me so much of me and my deceased girlfriend. As I watch the heartwarming moment I felt a tear ran down my cheek. Anime just makes every fangirl and fanboy cry.

I turned off the TV after the episode was over and was about to go upstairs to sleep until I heard a knock on the door. A visitor in this hour? I don't know any people that will come to my house of all places, besides the mailman.

Me: Alright I'm coming!

When opened the door, I see the last thing I would expect to appear in my property : a baby white bat with white fur with blonde hair, orange wings, and sapphire eyes. She was in a brown basket with a purple blanket on her. She was crying wiry tears comingout of her eyes. My eyes widen in shock, not believing what I'm seeing. But tied on the basket is a note. I took the note and read it.

Dear Shadow the Hedgehog

I know this is sudden and you may be suprised to see my baby on your doorstep. I'm truly sorry to disturb you but the reason I give the baby girl to you is because I want you to take care of her as her stepfather. I have no else to ask since you're pretty well known in this town that you're a great G.U.N soldier. I can't take care of her because a group of serial killers are looking for me and I don't want her to be put in danger. Please I'm begging you to protect her with her life since they might look for her too. Her name is Shannon and she likes carrots peas as her baby foods. She was born on February 3rd 2013 so she's 2 months old

I felt like I was about to faint from all of this happening to me right now. What the heck did I do to deserve this lord, WHY?! I looked around outside so I can maybe find this Rouge that decided to be so dumb to entrust Mr with a baby that I have no experience with that's being tracked down by serial killers! But unfortunately there's no one to be seen. IS THIS WOMAN OUT OF HER MIND?!

Then Sharron finally stopped crying and was looking at me with glazed eyes whimpering a little.

Me:And what exactly are you looking at you brat?!

Sharron just smiled at me and starts to giggle while reaching her arms toward me. I must be losing my mind, talking to a baby who doesn't know what the heck I'm saying. I really wish I was dreaming. I really don't have a choice but to be her father and I can't just leave the poor bat outside since it's getting chilly outside and she might get sick. I picked up the basket with Sharron inside and carried her inside my house. My life had turned into a brand new beginning as a new father
