When the smoke cleared, Amy and Shadow couldn't see Shannon and Rouge. Amy weakly got up from the luck she had from evil bat and dusted herself off and Shadow fell on his knees with tears streaming from his eyes which made Amy feel very sorry for him.
Amy: I have to do something to comfort him and to help him solve his problems.
Amy walked to Shadow and kneeled down to him.
Amy: Shadow...please don't cry okay?
Shadow:What's the point of even stopping doing anything? There's nothing left for me since my daugh- I mean EX daughter who was my own world, hates me and had gone off with that bat bastard. This is probably what's best for everyone so let's just go home without Shannon and pretend none of this happened alright?
Amy: But Shadow yo-
Shadow:THAT'S ENOUGH AMES ALRIGHT?! IT'S OVER AND SHANNON ' S OUT OF OUR LIVES NOW SO JUST FORGET ABOUT THIS AND WAKE UP!
Amy was very shock when he yelled at her, she never see him act this way he always see him being cool, calm, and wise which is few of the many things she likes about him...or LOVES about him. But them Amy have an upset look on her face and slapped Shadow across the face.
Amy:YOU'RE THE ONE WHO NEEDS TO WAKE UP! YOU CAN'T JUST ABANDON YOUR DAUGHTER LIKE THIS WITH THAT WHORE! SHANNY NEEDS YOU AND WE CAN'T LET ROUGE TAKE HER AWAY FROM US AFTER ALL THE GREAT MEMORIES WE HAD TOGETHER! I KNOW DEEP DOWN INSIDE OF HER THAT SHE STILL LOVES US AND IF WE DON'T ACT NOW WE MIGHT LOSE HER FOREVER, YOU REALLY WANT THAT TO HAPPEN?!
As he rubbed his cheek from the hard slap Amy gave her, he just looked at her in shock not knowing she could be this fiesty. But his ruby orbs turned from shock to determination and stand up wiping his tears away
Shadow: Yeah you're right Ames, sorry for acting like an idiot. I can't let Rouge control Shannon's life like this, she's my responsibility. I'm going to find them, save my daughter, and take that bat girl down.
Amy:That's what I'm talking about Shads, and I'm going with you and stay by your side through it all!
Shadow:Thanks Ames, I'm glad I have a friend like you I can really count on.
Amy:No problem...and sorry for slapping you in the face
Shadow:It's fine, I needed that to snap out of my depression. Now let's go
Amy:Right...but you have any idea where they are
Shadow:No idea...
Amy: *facepalms*Right...
Shadow:Well...if I were a villain, my best bet is the temple
Amy:But how can you be so sure. You said that place is dangerous
Shadow:Well she is a very skilled spy and dealt with things more dangerous than the traps that are in there. And plus you're with a skilled soldier so you're going to be just fine
Amy: Yeah you're right, now let's get this rescue mission started!
Amy and Shadow walked side by side to the temple where the final battles going to be to save thier little girl
