Shadow fell on the ground in pain but stand up quickly ignoring that pain in his gut and got into a fighting position.
Shadow:Amy find a way to unlock the door while I deal with rocky here!
Amy:But how am I supposed to do that?!
Shadow:You're a smart girl you'll think of something! AND this is not because you're a girl by the way!
Amy:Yeah sure it is....I guess I'll think of something.
Shadow used his Chaos Spears at the rocky snake but it had no effect which suprised the black hedgehog.
Shadow: DA FAQ?! I didn't even leave a scratch on it, this had never happened before!
Shadow began to leap from platform to platform from the snake, which is now chasing him, so he can lead it away from Amy trying to solve the door problem.
Amy: Come on Amy think before Shads get beaten!!
Then she notices the three different colored switches which got her an idea
Amy: That's it! If I press all of those switches then the door would be unlocked! Shadow's right, I am smart...nah probably not
Amy saw the giant snake about to attack her but Shadow came into her rescue by spin dashing hard on the snake which made it fall in the pool.
Amy:Nice one Shadow!
Shadow: That wouldn't take out the nuisance thar easily, whatever plan you came up with you better do it now.
Amy; Right I'm on it!
As Amy began to flip from platform to platform to get one of the switches, the snake got back up and about to get Amy again. Shadow used his Chaos Spears at the snake again which got its attention and turns to Shadow.
Shadow:Your opponent is me no one else, you got that?!
The snake had gone under water deep enough that Shadow couldn't see it from there while Amy used her hammer to push down the first switch and rushed to get to the next one.
Shadow: Come out you coward, you can't hide from me forever!
Shadow really shouldn't have told the rocky reptile to do that cause then the snake swam to the platform where Shadow is on and hits it with his head hard which made the black hedgehog go high close to the ceiling. And when Shadow is beginning to fall, the snake got its tail out of the water and hits Shadow with it hard at a platform.
Amy: SHADS!!
When she was about to hit the second switch, she began to run to Shadow.
Shadow: No Ames, don't worry about me I'll be fine! Just go hit the last two switches and quick!
Amy nodded and go to the second switch, and you guys are probably annoyed of how many times I'm saying the word switch, and hits it with her hammer and leaps to get to the last one. Shadow weakly got up as the snake got out of under water. The snake charged towards Shadow and wrapped around him squeezing him tightly while Shadow is screaming in pain. Amy picked up the pace not wanting to hear his friend's screams of pain any longer and pushed the the final switch which made the snake froze and stop squeezing Shadow. The snake then blow up into a lot of rock pieces that fell into the pool as the door unlocked and opened by itself. Amy rushed over to Shadow with a concerned look on her face.
Amy: Shads you're okay?
Shadow:Yeah, thanks to you. You did a very good job.
Amy:Thanks, but it's not over yet. Let's get going
Amy and Shadow then walked out of the room to get ready for thier next obstacle from rescuing Shannon.
