Inside the house

Shadow began making stew while Amy walked in Shannon's room with her in her pink arms to tuck her in bed. Amy walked out of the bedroom and gone downstairs to smell the delicious smell of the stew. She went to the kitchen to see Shadow a variety of ingredients in the pot of stew once again in the kawaii apron.

Amy:It smells delicious Shads, is it ready?

Shadow: *turns his head to Amy and faint smiles*Don't need to be so impatient, it'll be ready soon

Shadow's smile turned to a frown afraid to talk to Amy about his feelings and looked at the floor. Amy immediately noticed this and know that there's something going on in his mind.

Amy: Shads, are you okay? You're not acting right

Shadow:Yeah...I'm alright...

Amy: Come on Shads, you should know by now thay you can talk to me about every problem that you can possibly have. So quit hiding it from me and let's talk about it by sitting down on the couch.

Shadow:Umm...can't, need to watch the stew...

Amy:The stew will be just fine, let's just do it now so the sooner we finish, the earlier you'll get to be with the stew.

Shadow sighed then got out of the kitchen with Amy to the living room and sat on the couch next to each other.

Amy: Okay Shads just spit it out

Shadow was just looking down at his apron playing with it while blushing a dark red and Amy noticed the blush

Shadow:Ames...I'm glad that I met you and you're a good person.

Amy: *smiles*I am too Shads...but that's not all isn't it?

Shadow: *shook his head no*That Sonic guy was a dumbass when he didn't accept your love and break your heart. I can see in your eyes that you still miss that hedgehog and been suffering. But now after all the wonderful things you've done for me and Shannon, the least I'll make it up for you by making sure you have hope to be loved.

Amy: Shads...where are you going with this?

Shadow: Amy...I...love you...way more than a friend

Now it's Amy's turn to blush as she's totally lost for words, not believing that Shadow shares her same feelings. Shadow still wouldn't look at Amy's face feeling embarrassed

Shadow:If you don't feelthe same way,we ca-

The black hedgehog was interrupted when he felt Amy's lips on his as she kisses for the very first time. Shadow eyes were widened a little until Shadow closed his ruby eyes and kissed back caressing Amy's right cheek. They were starting to get into it until Amy smelt something... off so she pulled away from the kiss.

Amy: Shads...am I going crazy...or do you smell smoke

Shadow smelt the smoke as well and his eyes widen and rushed to the kitchen and Amy followed him to see the stew birning with a bunch of smoke coming out of it which made both hedgehogs panic and tried to fix the stew

Shadow: See I told you that we should've stayed with the stew!!

Amy:This is no time for this!! We need to stop the smoke before the stew turns on fire!!

So both hedgehogs fox the problem but didn't get to eat any stew but instead they smooch lips for dinner instead and it was worth it.
