Shadow: Alright now that there's finally no distraction, let's get the training started already ladies
Amy: Yeah, can't wait!
Shannon: YAY, THIS IS GOING TO BE SO FUN!!
Shadow got Shannon's training gear from the training bag and puts it on Shannon.
Amy: Okay so first getting over acrophobia right?
When Shannon heard acrophobia, she starts to shake a little in fear and Shadow kneeled down to her.
Shadow:Everything's going to be just fine, and if you fall off from the high place we promise we won't let you fall on the ground.
Amy:You're father's right and you would be loving great heights when this is all over Shannu
Shannon:Alright...I'll believe you guys.
They all gone to a small lake with a waterfall, which is the media on the first page of this chapter that's from the video game Sonic Adventure and just ignore Sonic in that picture. Shannon's on the edge with a nervous look on her face while Amy and Shadow were at the bottom that they jumped down to and they're next to the lake looking up at her.
Shannon: Ames, daddy I do not think I can do it! I'm scared!!
Shadow: I was afraid that this would happen
Amy: It will be okay Shanny, just remember what we promise and jump down with no worries.
Shannon: No, I don't want to be alone up here I don't wanna do it!!
Shannon is starting to have tears come out of her eyes while still shaking
Shannon:This isn't going to work Ames, what are we going to do now
Amy:We need to comfort her so she'll forget her fears Shad. Just follow my lead
Shadow:Alright if you say so
Amy: Shanny!
Shannon:Yes?!
Amy:Listen to me, stop being afraid and challenge the fear that's living in your heart!
Shannon:I do not get what you saying!
Amy: Oh right...you're just a toddler that don't know much.
Shadow: Alright honey, just turn around and look up at the sky
Shannon did what she was told and she sees the fluffy white clouds and the yellow sun above her. There was also a bunch of birds flying in one group. She stopped shaking and looked at the sky.
Shannon:Wow, never saw a lot of birds in one team. And I never see the type of birds before, they look pretty
Amy: Can you count how many there are
Shannon:I am not good with counting, only count to 20. Can you Ames and daddy?
Amy:I think...50?
Shadow:I'm guessing 75
Shannon:That sound like a big number
Amy:You feel like flying with them do you?
Shannon:Yeah, it looks fun up there. They are flying away, want to go too.
As Shannon is staring up at the sky she starts to back up closer to the edge without noticing. She started to fall bit didn't scream and Shadow catches her in his arms
Shannon:Hi daddy, what happened? Me wasn't paying attention
Amy:You did it Shannon, you're not afraid of heights anymore!
Shannon; Really?! Yay!
Shadow:You've done great hun
Amy:And she couldn't have done it without you distracting her from her fears, you're a genius!
Shadow blushed a little while looking at the ground.
Shadow:Y-yeah...thanks Ames.
Amy:No problem Shads, all there's left is to have your daughter flap her wings to fly
Shannon:Can't wait!
