(Flashback) At the park at night 5 years ago
The Maria hedgehog girl who was 10 years old was sitting on a boulder near the lake watching it stream across the park under the moonlight singing Strong by Sonna Rele. But she failed to notice the 10 year old stalker hiding behind a tree staring at the yellow hedgehog. Obviously, Shadow is totally in love Maria but he's way too shy to talk to her and afraid that he'll make a fool out of himself and that she doesn't love him back. He's been doing the weekly routine for like months and Shadow still doesn't man up.
Shadow: She's so perfect in ever way, her voice sweet like honey, her eyes shine like the stars, and her gorgeous face
But this night is going to be different for the two hedgehogs...as two pedophiles, one of them is a dog and the other a monkey walked to Maria with perverted smirks on thier faces. Maria noticed them, stopped singing, and her eyes widen in fear and Shadow saw this which made him angry and concerned.
Dog: You're the cutest, sexiest hedgehog we've ever seen.
Monkey:You should know that it's not safe for little girls to be sitting around here in the night. Bad and scary people like us come out of the streets to mess with anyone walking by
Dog:Yeah, but we're going to do way more than just mess with you.
Maria: P-please...leave me alone, I won't tell anyone that you were here with me I promise!
Monkey:Yeah right, like we're totally going to believe you.
Dog: You're body looks very sexy, can't wait to rape you
Maria:NO PLEASE I BEG OF YOU, SOMEONE HELP ME!!!
The perverts grabbed Maria, who was struggling for her life having tears streaming from her eyes screaming in fear, and started to unbuttoned her shirt until Shadow couldn't let all of this continue any longer and dashed towards them and low kicks the monkey and punched the dog hard on the face. They let go of Maria in shock from the pain a little kid can do to them. Shadow got in front of Maria who was buttoning her shirt scared to death but shocked as well.
Dog:Who the hell are you, pipsqueak?
Monkey: Who the hell are you?! This is none of your damn business!
Shadow: Well its none of your business of who I am! How could you touch this beautiful girl that way, you ought to be ashamed!
Maria: Did he just said that I'm...beautiful?
Shadow realized what he said and blushed looking away from the pedophiles.
Shadow: WHY WOULD I SAID THAT IN FRONT OF HER?! I'M SUCH AN IDIOT!
Monkey: Oh, so this bratty girl is your girlfriend?
Shadow:N-no...
Shadow: I wish...
Dog: Who cares? Let's just take the freak down and kidnap the girl!
The dog and Monkey charged towards Shadow and Maria. Maria flinched but Shadow kicked the dog hard on the gut to the monkey and they both fell at the ground. Shadow quickly took Maria's hand and quickly pulled het back up.
Shadow:This is out chance now come on!
Maria: R-right.
Shadow and Maria quickly ran away out of the park with the dog and monkey chasing them
Dog:We can't let them get away!
Monkey: Come back here you pests!
