Shadamy : Let Love Take Flight

Chapter 9

End of flashback and back with Shannon and Amy in the ladies bathroom.

Shannon finished the sad story with tears streaming from her eyes while Any had a sad look feeling really bad for her.

Shannon: I am not pretty Amy, I'm an ugly freak and no kid will be my friend.

Amy: Did the person in charge of the day or the staff did anything about it?

Shannon:No, they are too busy to help me. I Don not want to tell them cause the kids would call me a tattletale and will be more bad.

Shannon hugged Amy burying her face in her chest sobbing uncontrollably. Amy eyes widen in shock and sadness and hugs Shannon back. They stayed like that for a few moments until they broke away the hug.

Amy:Let's go...your father should be waiting for us. Try to not show him that you're sad, okay Shannon?

Shannon slowly nodded. Amy grabbed her hankerchief from her pocket wiped away Shannon's tears and snot. Then they took each other's hand and walked out of the bathroom to see Shadow sitting on the bench waiting for them reading the newspaper. When he noticed them, he crumbled up the newspaper and threw it in the trash and goes to the girls.

Shadow:You two sure took a long time in the bathroom.

Amy: Sorry for keeping you waiting Shannon...saw a bug and tried to kill it...right Shannon?

Shannon:Yeah...

Shadow:I can tell by looking at her eyes that something is wrong and that she doesn't want to tell me. She always had the same face every time she goes back home from the day care.

Shadow:...Okay then, that's okay

Then suddenly they heard the whistle from the train and saw people start to get in the train. The sign on the electric board on the train reads Mystic Ruins

Shannon:Hey, our trains here

Shadow: Okay let's go before it leaves without us.

Shadow picked up Shannon and runs with her and Amy to the train. A suspicious man wearing a coat with black boots and a hat went in the train as well with an evil smirk.

Inside the train

The trio took a seat in the back of the train with Shannon on Shadow's lap and Amy sitting next to them. They are 10 other people in the train with them including the suspicious man. The train begins to move and they were off getting out of the train station to see a good view of Station Square looking as beautiful as ever.

Shannon:Mystic Ruins here we come, I can't wait this so cool!

Shannon looked out the window to see the beautiful sight of Station Square which made her eyes beam with joy and she squeals.

Shannon: our city looks so pretty from here, I can see it all!

Shadamy smiled at her, happy for her that she's already having a good time...but the happy mood will be stopped in a few moments as the suspicious man that is sitting on a seat near one of the exits pulling out his gun.

Oh man, some bad stuff is about to be going down in the train! Will Shadow and Amy stop them protecting Shannon and the other passengers? You would have to be patient to read the next chapter. Fun fact:Shannon is an Irish name that meant "wise river" and "possessor of wisdom". Very intresting...
