It was Monday, and a lot of stuff had happened this weekend. Calum hadn't talked to me since Sunday morning, I don't know what to expect. He could either be broken up with Tarin, or right back into her hold. I have no idea how I would feel if he took her back. If there no longer together, I have no clue where I stand with Tarin. She's so bipolar who knows. This morning my mom dropped me off at school, since she was actually home for once. Was probably feeling guilty about the whole Xander thing.

"Good morning, Brynn." Carson chimed with a smile, as he leaned on my locker. Quickly grabbing my book for photography, and closing the metal door. "Hey, I'm sorry that I left without saying good bye." I pointed out.

"Kylie told me that you left around midnight, so I understand." He kept his smile as he explained. I just nodded along, "I would love to do it again." I hummed keeping the conversation light. Then he nodded, "Yes, of course." Carson chuckled.

I hadn't wanted to come to school today, but I didn't want it too seem like I was bothered. It did mean that I have been avoiding Tarin at all cost. I knew she wasn't done with begging for forgiveness, and she was just so damn clingy, stubborn. Don't know where we would stand, if Brynn hadn't talked any sense into me. I was staring at the damage Tarin had done in the reflection of my phone.

"Who's that guy?" Luke practically yelled in my ear, catching me off guard. I quickly slipped my phone in my pocket; self conscious. When I looked up I saw some blonde kid, I've probably seen once or twice, "I have no clue." I mumbled kind of bothered. After I said that I noticed Luke was looking at me intensely, "Dude your freaking me out, don't look at me like that." I joked.

"What the hell happened to your face?" Luke scoffed as he continued to focus on the right side of my face. I used my hand to cover it up, which kind of hurt, "I feel climbing up my gate." I said with a harsh tone. He just started laughing, "You should really cover that up." With that Luke patted me on the shoulder, and probably went on the search for some tenth graders.

I looked back over at Brynn's locker, she was still talking to the blonde kid. I tried to put a finger on where I had seen him before. It bugged me, but only because she is one of my best friends, and I hate to see her rebound so quickly. That was all he was a rebound, and with that I slammed my locker shut.

Today at lunch I asked Carson to sit with me. He was kind of hesitant at first probably, because Kylie and Michael were also sitting there today. Also since the only other person he actual knew at the table besides them and me, was Ashton. Of course I didn't know that, since Ashton and I weren't very close. So when they were lost in conversation, I noticed how quiet Calum was being.

"So what happened yesterday?" I asked quietly, trying not to bring any attention to the conversation. Interestingly enough, I found myself checking his face for any more damage. To my relief he still only had the one cut. "I broke up with her." His words were a bit harsh.

"You did the right thing." I smiled trying to lighten the mood. He just stared at me, and I used this as an excuse to study his expression. He looked so broken, and I couldn't understand why. Yet it was quite simple, Calum gave it his all and she let paranoia take over.  "Can we talk about this later?" He forced a half smile, and I simply nodded. Once again, I got that same yearning to take his hand and comfort him. I didn't.

"This is all your fault." Tarin said through gritted teeth, as she sat next to me. I looked up from my algebra text book with furrowed brows, "What are you talking about?" It seemed every time she came to me, she was pissed off at me. Except for few exceptions like the Xander incident. Tarin just sent me a look, in-between a dirty look and daggers. Wasn't very cute. I rather not saying anything, then say something and get in a fight with her.  Once again at the end of class, we got another test grade back, and once again there in red-ink a F.
