I honestly have no idea what had been going on between the triangle, Luke, Tarin, and Brynn. It's to the point where I'm getting more bothered than I started, I'm losing my girlfriend I just got because she's helping with Lukes problem. I would love to help Luke, but I can't stand Tarin, and I know he can't stand her as well, but that is his kid, but something shady was going on, I just had that feeling. I look down at my dim phone screen with no messages back from Brynn. What the hell were they doing, having some moon light dinner, they've been gone since 5, and it's already 8.

I could feel my someone pushing on my shoulder causing me to raise from my slumber. I slowly open my eyes too see a blurred out Brynn. I was too tired to open my mouth, it felt as if they were glued together.

"I am so sorry. I know I said I would spend today with you, but Luke-" She said, but I quickly interrupt.

"It's whatever, we'll try again tomorrow." I say forcing the words out of my mouth. I know it sounded as if I had cotton in my throat, but I could give less of damn at this moment. I close my eyes trying to avoid any other conversation, because right now I just didn't want to hear about Tarin and/or Luke.

"Calum, I feel bad, we just started dating and we haven't spent as much time as we did before as friends." She says placing her hand on top of mine. Knowing Brynn this would be bugging her all night until tomorrow. I just smile into my pillow and yank her hand down causing her to fall into my hold.

"Then make it up to me." I smile with my eyes closed. I opened them to have Brynns face only a few inches away from mine. I could feel her soft breaths as she furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. I chuckle to myself and shuffle my body slightly to kiss her. "Spend the rest of the night with me." I say smiling into her hazel eyes, almost able to see my smile in her eyes. She just sends a comfortable smile, and nuzzles her head into my chest.

A couple minutes pass and I wasn't able to sleep. I couldn't tell if Brynn was in mid sleep, or starting to fall into her deep slumber. "Psst. Brynn." I say a bit quietly just to check. She let out a little mumble in response, indicating she was still awake. "I can't sleep. Entertain me." I say as if I were a little boy wanting his mother to read a bed time story. She moves her head up, to make eye contact with me.

"And how am I suppose to do that?" She replies. "Want me to sing you to sleep?" She jokes.

"Lets just talk. I miss having our old deep talks." I pout. She just giggles and looks up as if she was looking at a thought bubble. I couldn't think of anything we could talk about, other than Luke and Tarin. I really wanted to know, but I didn't at the same time, I felt as if I were a little kid who had to choose between the blue and red lollipop. "Are you sure you're okay with befriending Tarin again?" I say, starting a conversation I might end up regretting in the end.

"I mean, we aren't really friends. I just tag along with her and Grace to make sure she doesn't drink, smoke, and get STDs." She explains facetiously. I just snicker, and examine her slightly tired expression. Her eyes slowly shut, so I just decided to end the short conversation.

"Brynn." I say one last time as she nuzzles back into my chest. She let out the little mumble once again in response, "I love you." I say closing my eyes.

"I love you too." She says back, and to be honest, I really wasn't expecting her to say it back.

"You can't be fucking drinking!" I yell at a highly intoxicated Tarin. It was only 5 in the morning and she was already drunk out of her mind. She just flicks her hand down as if she swatting a fly. She tries to make her way up the stairs but misses the first step, god what a fuck up. I rush over to help her up, and her face was so close to my face I wanted to vomit.
