I stayed behind from lunch, instead I looked for Luke. I hadn't been able to talk to him yesterday, since I spent the night with Brynn. I knew he would want to hear about what happened. Finally, I found Luke talking to some girl I hadn't seen around before. Pretty sure, that she was the new girl everyone was talking about. I walked up to Luke's locker where the both of them were talking, "Luke, I want to talk to you." I say lightly, so he wouldn't take it too seriously. Luke seemed to freeze up for a moment, before relaxing his body.

"You must be Calum, I'm Carter." The black haired girl smiled enthusiastically, and put her hand out. I shook it politely, even though I was a bit weirded out by her enthusiasm. Luke just smiled awkwardly, "Is it okay if Carter sits with us at lunch?" It wasn't like I could say no, after all she was standing right in front of me. So I simply nodded, "But I still need to talk to you." I interjected.

"Go find Brynn, she'll be sitting at the table." Luke called out to Carter, as she started walking away. I looked away from the direction, she walked away from. Then awkwardly put my hand in my front pocket, and looked back at Luke, "It happened last night." I said bluntly. Luke looked from where ever he had his focus on, and looked directly at me now, "What?" Luke said perplexed.

I threw one hand up in frustration before moving a bit closer to Luke. Last thing I needed was this information getting to Tarin. Luke seemed a bit weirded out on how close I was, "I slept with Brynn." I uttered, and that's when I actually got a reaction from Luke. Even though it wasn't really the one I was expecting, "Are you serious?" Luke questioned in an worried tone. I furrowed my brows, and backed up from Luke.

"What do you mean, are you serious?" I asked, as I continued to mock him in an irritated tone. Luke didn't move from his broad, uptight stance. Which made me even more confused, why was he so upset? Like when I told him about Tarin he practically wanted to throw me a parade, "She didn't even sleep with Xander after two years, what makes you so special?" Luke scoffed, and relaxed his body once again.

"Well for starters, she never loved Xander, and she was ready," I explained, still not understanding why I had to explain myself, "so I don't really see the problem." Luke completely backed down by shaking his head slightly, and sighed, "I'm sorry, just I see Brynn as like my sister." Luke uttered, and walked away without saying another word. Before following his lead, I stood there in confusion for a moment.

I was enjoying my sandwich by myself, since everyone was taking forever to come to lunch. When a girl I don't believe I had ever seen before, walked over and took a seat. I smiled at her and put down my sandwich, "Are you the new girl? I'm Brynn." It was actually kind of ironic since I was the new girl about four months ago. Crazy too see how settled I was now, and how much the new scenery has effected me.

"I'm Carter, and yea just moved here from Houston." I nodded and tried to recollect exactly where Houston was again. We ended up carrying on a lengthy conversation, until Luke walked over seeming bothered. He sat next to Carter, which was funny since he usually sat in front of me. Speaking of Luke, I've tried to keep things from getting awkward. Also I've yet to tell Calum about what happened two nights ago, and I still hadn't planned on it. I opened my mouth to ask him what's wrong but Carter beat me too it, "What happened?" She almost whispered as if I wasn't welcome to the conversation.

"I'll tell you about it later." I heard Luke whisper vaguely into her ear, and against her hair. I tried not to show interest in their little moment, and focused on my sandwich. The situation only add a stir of emotions, to the ones I already had. To my salvation, Calum finally walked in and sat down next to me. He also seemed a bit upset leading me too think him and Luke, got into an argument. Of course, I let my mind wonder but there was no way Luke would have told Calum anything.
