xander

I had been planning to visit my family this weekend, until I received a text. The new kid, Keagen, had decided to throw a last minute party. I had a feeling that Brynn would be all over this, but strange enough she hadn't told me about it. Things had been a lot better when it was just us back in Florida. I tried my best to convince her to move back to Tampa, but something to do with pride and school held her back. Instead I decided to do the big move myself just thinking that maybe Brynn and I would be come something. That didn't seem to be happening as she was spending time with Michael more often. After a couple minutes, I decided that I was going to just show up even if Brynn didn't tell me about it, and probably had some reason why. In a mere couple of minutes, I had gotten dressed and hopped into my car. Once I pulled up to the house, there was cars lined all up and down the streets. This new kid made friends fast, faster than I did. Putting my thoughts behind, I took the plunge and walked inside the open front door of the house.

"Xander! I was hoping you would show up." Brynn yelled as she popped up from behind me. At first, I took her words a bit too seriously. How could she hope I would show up, if she didn't even invite me? Upon closer observation, I realized just how drunk she was and that nobody was looking out for her. So of course I tried to take it upon myself to watch over Brynn, but before I knew it she was putting drinks left and right in front of my face. At first I denied, denied, and denied each drink. Then I thought about what if I just had one? Shit I'm at a party, why not? Little did I know I was sucked into Brynn's trap, and before I knew it I had downed at least three bottles of whatever she had been giving me. I was on a roll by now before Brynn decided to cut me off, "I don't think we should drink anymore." She pointed out, and caused me to scrunge up my nose in discontent, "What would we do instead?" I asked already in the mindset of not wanting to dance, or have to go socialize or something.

"I say do something we've never done before," She explained with a smirk on her face, that made me really question her thoughts, "at least not together." Her words sounded suggestive but I wasn't completely picking up what she was putting down. My eyebrows furrowed together as she pulled me into a hallway, then into what seemed like a guest room of sorts. Brynn put down the red cup that she had been holding on to, and set it on top of one of the night tables. She then continued to wrap her hands around my neck, "We always planned on doing it one day." Brynn whispered in my ear and it sent a shiver down my spine. I had always dreamed of this day, but after all this time to prepared and I felt nervous. I grabbed the drink sitting on the night table and downed its remaining contents, "Are you sure?" That was a stupid question. Brynn nodded almost causing herself to fall over, but I held her still as I went in for the first kiss.

I wasn't in the mood for the loud music, and annoying drunks. At least not after what happened just the other night, "Excuse me." I mumbled as I pushed past some people that didn't look at all familiar. All I wanted was to find Calum, but it seemed in possible with all these people here. It was about thirty minutes ago that I had texted him, and asked him to find me in the kitchen. I had gotten a bit anxious and decided to just go looking for him myself. I accidently knocked into a girl as I tried to make my way, and it caused her to snap her head around like an alligator ready to attack. Of course out of all the girls in this entire house, it was Grace with a smirk on her face. She tousled her hair before turning her attention to me, "I feel just terrible about telling Brynn you little secret," Grace made sure to throw in a wink after 'little secret' causing me to cringe, "would you tell Calum how sorry I am?" She smiled once more before turning around.

"Sure." I scoffed before walking back in the direction I came in. As I walked into the kitchen, right back to where I started, I grabbed my wristlet that I had stupidly left unattended. Knowing their was nothing of value inside besides a cheap fake id, and a couple dollars. I checked to make sure no one had taken anything out of it. Everything was in perfect order. Now that I had all my belongings in hand, I decided that I rather leave then search for Calum any longer. While pushing people out of the way trying to get towards the door. I instead ended up in a room where an intense patty cake competition of sorts was taking place. It was until I was about to walk out that I realized one of the boys who were participating looked familiar. I pushed some hairs out of my face, and narrowed my eyes on him, "Calum, what the hell are you doing?" I called out. Calum's head snapped towards me and attempt to yell something at me but I couldn't hear him from all the other screaming. I pushed my way to the front and pulled Calum away from the game. There was a series of whines from the crowd; ridiclous.
