CHAPTER 56

May's POV (Elena)

"Sir Chase!" Yummie called out before Chase dashed towards Luke and gave him a heavy punch making Yummie shriek.

"Stay out of this Rodriguez," Luke threatened while on defense.

"Why would I? You are messing with the wrong girl Javier. Go back to where you belong," nanggigigil na sambit ni Chase

Chase pushed Luke at gumanti si Luke. Sh*t, are they seriously going to start fighting here? My body is too frail to be their referee, and most importantly. I don't want Luke to get hurt! Chase is a strong man, and I know it. I know his capabilities. Chase has singlehandedly took care of school rebels during his young age. Up until he grew up, he was always near fistfights.

"Call the guards," utos ko kay Yummie.

I felt Yummie's worried gaze, "Paano ka? Hindi kita pwede iwan dito."

"Go now Yum," I pushed her away.

She runs nervously to summon the security personnel. I confronted Chase and Luke and attempted to stop them. Luke never broke a rule, he's a good boy and I bet this is his first fistfight. Ano namang laban ni Luke na napaka mabait at maginoo? He's a freaking lawyer and here he is having a fight with Chase when he is not used to it!

"Aren't you completely smitten with Perez? Why are you trying to hit on my girl? Sabi ko sa'yong humanap ka nalang ng iba eh," maangas na utas ni Chase.

"You don't know anything so shut your filthy mouth Rodriguez," Luke uttered in gritted teeth. Luke has seriously been acting odd.

"Oh, yeah? But I know you're trying to use May and I won't let you do that."

Chase swiftly seized my waist and planted a kiss on my lips. Before I could even react Luke grabbed Chase's collar and punch his face.

"YOU! Stay away from May. I won't let your dirty hands touch her!" Shouted Luke while raining punches to Chase.

"Tama na!" umiiyak na sambit ni Yummie na bagong dating kasama ang limang guards.

"The woman you just kissed IS Elena!" galit na sigaw ni Luke

"You're crazy! Bagay na bagay nga kayo ng fiancé mo. Both of you need to go to a mental institution," Chase retorted.

"Stop it, Luke!" I shouted. Finally losing my patience. We are going nowhere in this. "Chase!"

Pareho silang napatigil sa sigaw ko. Luke's expression calmed down and he looked at me with his pleading eyes.

"Stop driving me insane by hanging around and get lost Luke! Pagod na pagod na ako! I don't want to see your face in front of me again. Kung ayaw mong humantong pa to sa korte ay umalis ka na lang!"

He let out a deep sigh and shook his head, "I'll retreat for now but we'll talk again. I know you need time."

"She doesn't need time Javier. Don't show your face—"

"Shut up Rodriguez. Nagtitimpi lang ako dahil andito si Elena," he looked at me and smiled. "I'll wait for you." He continued before turning his back away from us.

"Nasisisraan na talaga ng ulo ang Javier na 'yon," Chase commented.

I rolled my eyes heavenwards, I honestly don't have the energy to talk to him right now. I don't understand what just made Luke act that way. Nanghihina at tulala akong naglakad papunta sa bahay ni Yummie. I didn't even realize that this jerk came with us. I just watch Yummie cater to him and his injuries.

"Ouch, ouch! A-aray!" He whimpered in pain.

"S-sorry po sir Chase," Yummie apologetically uttered. "Kung ihatid ko nalang po kaya kayo sa hospital?"
