May's POV (Elena)

We are currently at a coffee shop, the same place where I talked to Luke– ang boyfriend ng babaeng kaharap ko. I noticed that she's always sighing and spacing out. She looks like she wants to ask me something but is contemplating. So, what does the Perez' Estate Company CEO want to ask from someone like me?

"Miss Elena?" I called her attention since she's still blankly staring at the space.

I don't really like her, she's far from the Elena in my memory. I mean, how can she be this weak if she's handling a multimillion company? She has been the content of business magazine— all aspiring business minded people but she seems far from what all those articles have written. But still... I'm trying to be professional here. Afterall kahit gaano pa siya nakakairita she is still my boss.

"Say... Ele—I mean May," she trailed off while stirring her coffee before continuing, "what if may malaking opportunity para mas lumago ang kompanya niyo ang dumating..."

I arched an eyebrow at her. What is she trying to say? Is she seriously planning to ask for advice from me? Her employee from a finance department? I bet she have more knowledge than me, she's after all the reknowned Miss Perfect of the Business industry.

"Let's say... Ikaw ang CEO. What would you do? Sa pag-accept mo ng once in a lifetime opportunity na 'to maaaring mas lalaki ang tiyansa na mas mapalago ang kompanya mo pero maaaring mag-away kayo ng mahal mo," she said, her eyes were desperate for answers. What happened to her?

Damn, I was right. She IS asking for a bit of advice. I can't believe our CEO is asking me this kind of question. Every interaction I have with her, the perfect and good inage she had in my memories are slowly crumbling. I don't really get her.

"Obviously, I would accept it," I answered straightforwardly.

One distant memory suddenly erupted in my mind as soon as those words came out of my mouth. A memory similar to her question... another claimed memory of mine.

"Elena, why did you accept their proposal?!" Luke angrily exclaimed.

Luke's hair was messy and frustration is plastered all over his face.

"Look. Personal and business matters are supposed to be separated, Luke. You should know that," wika ni Elena na 'di tumitingin kay Luke.

The memory ended at napahawak ako sa ulo ko. What was that? Again... It was Luke and Elena. It was a memory of them. Tumayo ako at naramdaman ko ang tingin sa akin ni Miss Elena.

"Personal matters and business are supposed to be separated," I said before walking out of the coffee shop.

I don't get it. Why am I having this kind of flashback? Is this some part of that amnesia thingy the doctor told me? I guess I need to pay my doctor a visit soon. I went straight home and didn't bother to eat dinner and just sleep my heart out. This has been an exhausting day...

I woke up earlier than usual. I just want to avoid that creepy annoying Chase who tirelessly annoy me with no avail. He acts like an effin stalker. I sneakily walked out of my apartment and looked around just to make sure no annoying pervert is following me again.

I let out a sigh of relief when I reached the office but my brows knitted as I noticed the company atmosphere was tense and all employees, with no exceptions, their faces were painted with remorse. Before I could ask what's happening, sinalubong ako ni Gabriella.

"May Gonzales. Report to the CEO's office," she ordered while snickering. What's with her now?

That's really suspicious... What is she plotting now? Inirapan ko na lamang siya, whatever she throws at me. I am ready for it. Dumiretso ako bsa office ni Miss Elena. I wonder what does she need now? I don't remember doing something against the company's rules.

"Good morning Miss Perez," I announced before opening the door.

I was taken aback by the scene I saw. Many employees were on their knees while bowing to a lady na nakaupo sa upuan ni Miss Elena while her feet resting on the table. Beside her was a girl holding a doll while standing.

"Misty and Winter," I unconsciously muttered to myself. They are both in my memory... the siblings of Elena.

"Name?" asked Misty, the lady sitting on the CEO'S seat.

I felt my heart hammered inside my chest, it has been three years in Elena's memory since she last saw these two. I don't understand these conflicting emotions... my chest is filled with yearning yet there's this part of me who wants to stay away from them. It's like a bittersweet feeling. Is it because I just feel it naturally or because of the memories of Elena Perez I have?

"May," mabilis kong sagot, trying to hide the overflowing emotions filling up my soul. "May Gonzales."

She stared at me from head to toe. With the way she looks, it's not a question nor a mystery she's panning another stupid plan. Then she shook her head in distaste. That judgmental eyes... what is she trying to do?

"You're fired," she brazenly proclaimed while taking out a cigarette in her pocket,

Napataas ang kilay ko sa biglang announcement niya. Lumapit ako sa kanya saka kinuha ang sigarilyo sa bibig niya. She does not have the rights nor control over this company. And they can't just remove employees without a valid reason. Are they asking for a war with the Department of Labor and Employment? Are they planning to ruin Perez Estate Company?

"This is a smoke-free area," I said in a monotonous tone.

Misty arched her eyebrow at me. Her blonde hair is now nowhere to be seen, it now turned into short, curly, and purple hair. And compared to my last memory of her... she has three times the number of her last piercing, she even has a piercing in her nose and brows now that she didn't have before! She gave me a weird look as if amused with the way I'm acting then turned to Winter. Winter just gave her a sly smile then shrugged.

"You're interesting... okay then. Even if you look ugly, I'll give you a chance. Be my slave," she smiled evilly before continuing "Like them." She pointed to my co-workers still on their knees

My consciousness blackened in rage. Me? A slave? In her dreams. Tsk. If Elena is annoying, this wench is three times more annoying.

"The moment you rebelled against the Perez when you were supposed to be the heiress is the day you were stripped off of your rights in managing this company Misty," I claimed in a matter of fact, I don't know if my memory is accurate but I just have to get through this. Confidence is just the key to win this situation.

I don't know where I got that information but it just naturally came out. And I just want this face to disappear in earth.

"Excuse me? Are you a stalker of mine now? Why do you remind me of that bitchy sister of mine? You ugly stalker?" she replied while finally facing me fiercely.

"Stand up you stupid morons and leave this room," I said while coldly looking at my co-workers. They were hesitant at first but I gave them a glare that threaten them and quickly left the room.

"She really did it! Can you believe it?! She's like another version of Elena," I heard Winter whispered.

Why do people even bother to whisper when you can actually hear it?! And me a version of Elena? No thanks. She's a complete weakling!

"Only Elena Perez has the right to make decisions in this company," I said in a nonchalant voice. That's it, I just have to keep this up until Elena at least arrives.

She looked into my eyes and smiled, a smile that brings a shiver to your bones. She snapped her fingers and the door suddenly opened.

"L-Luke," I softly called his name.

His expression was blank while staring at me. What's wrong with him? Is he here to take care of the situation?

"E-Elena," he managed to utter while staring at me.
