Chapter 2 - Cyber Guild

"Hilliard-sama! Hilliard-sama! We'll definitely survive this! Pull yourself together!"

"Lance-kun, I'm not gonna last long... I... I apologize for passing you all responsibilities... that... I'm... unable to fulfill... You're the only one that I can count on... Promise me... Promise me that you will..."

The moment he opened his eyes, he realized that someone was waking him up. When his vision became clear from his deep slumber, he saw a girl dressed in white jacket and skirt that were tailored with red lining design, but who were also dressed in an apron.

"Nii-san! Nii-san! Wake up!"

"Oooh... Lala-chan?"

"Geez, Nii-san. Why did you overslept now of all the days this week? You know that it's my guild debut, right?"

Lancelot Lancaster was still lying on his bed when his little sister woke him up. As he went out of his bed and walked straight to their dining table, he was still wiping his eyes and yawning while checking out the breakfast his sister had prepared.

"Good thing I already cooked our breakfast early. And here I thought you also have an important appointment today..." Laura uttered in disappointment.

"By the way, where's Mom?"

"She said she won't be here for another month. Oh, you dropped this paper in your room."

"Oh thanks! Hmmm... It seems like you're quite excited for your debut today."

"Of course, Nii-san! They said Trinity Guild has large facilities and..."

"You're also drafted by Trinity Guild?!"

"Huh? What do you mean 'also'?"

"Oh... Nothing..."

This was the Lancaster siblings' daily morning routine. The only time of the day the two of them could see each other in their condo unit.

After finishing her breakfast, Laura Lancaster quickly stood up and removed her apron by swiping and touching a screen menu on her clothes. She then quickly ran slowly to the main door and opened its own digital menu. But before she tapped the open option, she glanced back to her older brother.

"By the way, Nii-san, they say that Trinity Guild have their own dorms. So I believe I wouldn't be able to cook breakfast for you regularly from now on. See ya!"

"What?! Wait! Lala-chan!"

With a lot of excitement on her face, Laura Lancaster left for her Trinity Guild debut!
