Vincent Seymour didn't waste any more time and immediately swallowed the pill on his hand. He then gently closed his eyes, with his whole body motionless.

"Entering Cyber Mode!"

Upon reciting that phrase, a small digital screen menu appeared floating in his front.

[Entering Cyber Mode...]

[Cyber Mode Activated!]

Upon opening his sight, Vincent's pitch black eyes beneath his eyeglasses had changed. Its color was transformed into cyan, designed with several different lines as if it was a circuit that was usually found in electronic devices.

Vincent then gather all of his force on his feet and quickly charged straight to the champion beast. But unlike before, he was traveling with an incredible amount of speed. Although he didn't have a Speed-type Character System, he was dashing so fast that his appearance became blurred while traveling at full speed.

Vincent Seymour was traveling much faster than Yosuke Masuda augmented with Haste Support Ability. He then suddenly stopped few meters from the beast and quickly casted his Light Arrow Ability.

"!"

Vincent aimed his Light Bow at the beast and quickly released a red Light Arrow upon locking his target.

But that was not all.

After releasing a Light Arrow, Vincent immediately stepped to his side and quickly aimed and released his ability once again, doing all of that for only half of a second. He repeated doing his aim-and-release move multiple times after dashing to his side, encircling the beast countless of times and releasing numerous Light Arrows around it.

"!"

An infinite barrage of red arrows were being thrown from all direction to the champion beast. The giant horse didn't know where and when the next barrage of arrows would hit. It couldn't even pinpoint Vincent Seymour's exact position because of the sudden surge on his speed stats. The only thing the S-Class beast could do was to just wait for the arrows to hit.

Just a little more... muttered Vincent while struggling.

The champion beast didn't have the stats to properly react on Vincent's barrage of Light Arrows. It just remained on its position, focusing on defense while it continued to take those arrows its opponent was throwing indiscriminately.

Vincent Seymour was clearly going for the kill. With him in Cyber Mode as he singlehandedly neutralized the giant beast, he thought that winning this battle would only be a matter of time.

But more than a minute had passed, Vincent was still maintaining his movements and speed when he realized something.

Even though he had already unleashed countless Light Arrows, all the damage he could see on the giant horse was those few scratches on its dense skin.

His Light Arrows on Cyber Mode was barely making any damage and was just bouncing off the champion beast's body.

"You're kidding me...!"

Vincent's initial plan before entering Cyber Mode was to weaken the beast's defense, especially on its limbs. Entering Cyber Mode would drastically increase his overall stats, especially his speed and his Light Arrow's stats.

But from observing what was actually happening, there wasn't any progress at all. It felt like doing this stunt multiple times wouldn't improve their situation.
