It was already evening in new Tokyo.

Just by walking on its streets at night, a newcomer in this kingdom would be surprised as several public places, especially the Night Market, were as bright as day light.

People usually seen within the Night Market were typically vacationist and students who were just strolling after their day class.

But in a small market stand were several cheap but gorgeous-looking souvenirs were displayed, a pink haired girl was checking out the items being sold.

It was Caroline Castlelock.

She then picked up a small pink bracelet and examined it.

These looks nice...

It didn't take long until Caroline decided to go home. As she was walking beside a road in a dark alley with only few people could be seen, she heard a female voice just behind her back.

"Found you, Castlelock-san..."

The pink haired girl didn't move a muscle. She just smiled before moving her lips without even glancing back to the person behind her.

"If I'm correct, you're Cornelia Penelope-san of SPEAR, right?"

Tsk! As expected. This girl already read that wretch boy's mind. Cornelia thought in mind.

"So, what do you want, Cornelia-senpai?"

"Don't joke around me. You already know why I'm here. You can read my mind, don't you?" Cornelia stated after she smirked. This girl possessed the God's Gift Ability that can read other people's mind by telepathy. But in her current level, she can only read what currently on people's mind. She can only read a person's entire memories by physical contact. And she still couldn't alter someone's memories as well...

"As expected of SPEAR, you really studied me carefully. So you want me to join your group, right?"

"Your abilities are quite useful even if you still aren't in your full potential. But that isn't the reason why you're interesting..." Cornelia's white hair was blown by the wind. "There can only be one God's Gift Ability per individual. Tell me, why do you have three?"

"Me? Interesting?"

Caroline smiled as well.

The one who's really interesting is... the boy I just had met...
