Somewhere in the place people called the East Abyss, a famous figure in a black winter coat was seating in a cave during a snow storm.

It was Allen Ambrosia.

It was freezing inside the said cave. Even if there was a small campfire in the cave, one of the four men residing in that place was shivering in coldness.

Allen Ambrosia then smiled.

"It seems like our guess is already here."

A boy, also dressed in a full-body coat, appeared just at the entrance of the cave. He had a dark, bushy hair with two katanas both on his side.

He was Alexus Conway, former heir of the Wind Slash Clan.

"What do you want, Allen Ambrosia? I have no time playing with your childish games!"

"You disrespecting fool! You want to die right here?"

A man at Allen's side stood up, confronting Alexus Conway.

"Hold on, Suwabara." Allen halted his men with a smirk. "This boy's a valuable asset."

"But Allen-sama..."

"Asset, you say? How about you guys spit out why you called me here before I kill you all!"

"You're quite the notorious one, huh? I guess that what happens when a man with a lot of pride lose like a helpless insect." Another man beside Allen Ambrosia blurted.

Hearing those insulting words, Alexus Conway drew his katana on his left side and pointed it to the man who insulted him. Alexus was about to swing his katana when Allen Ambrosia suddenly smiled at him.

"What if I told you... I know where Fionn of the White Flame is?"

"What? You..."

"You wanted some revenge, right?"

"So what do you want?" Alexus Conway asked.

"I want you to join us in pursuit of power." Allen smirked once again. "Mind you, it's not just me who will benefit to this. All of us."

"Let's not get too fast here. How would I know if you're telling the truth?"

"Proof, huh? Don't worry. In our very first mission, I'll immediately show you where he is. But first, I need your confirmation."

"Well then, tell me about our first mission?" asked Alexus.

Kids these days are really easy to manipulate... thought a man on Allen's side.

"We need to capture someone who my father is currently protecting..."

Allen Ambrosia then smirked.

"The one who took your throne as the number one in the golden age of rookies. Lizette Highwind and her God's Gift Ability... Mana Infinity!"
