However, in a place within the kingdom of new Tokyo where several abandoned and wrecked buildings could be seen all over the place, an SF police car was strolling the roads in that area.
There were two SF officers riding the car. And at their back was a man handcuffed with shackles.
But inside that police car, a depressing atmosphere could be felt. The officer driving the car didn't have any idea why they were roaming this kind of place with a captured criminal on the vehicle.
"Um, Chief. Why are we in a place like this? Aren't we supposed to deliver this guy to prison?"
"Listen, Kid. You're one of my boys that I can count on, right?"
"Of course, Chief! I'll do anything that you'll say."
"Then promise me that you'll keep anything you'll see here by yourself."
"Huh? Why are we here in the first place?"
The higher ranked officer didn't respond to his colleague's question. Until they reached an old rusting cathedral that was already full of cracks and holes.
The two officers left their car with the criminal restrained by them. And together, the three of them walked their way inside the cathedral that didn't even have a door.
The inside of the said cathedral was messed up. Broken chairs and tables could be seen everywhere. There were also a lot of small patches of light coming from the holes on the roof.
But at the center of the place was a man, dressed in a long, black coat, holding a silver knife on his right hand and sitting on a chair. But the knife blade the man was holding wasn't just an ordinary weapon. It had a red crystal ball embedded between the weapon's blade and handle.
The officer holding the criminal glanced on his chief after he turned back his head on the mysterious man in front of them.
"Chief, why is a Supreme on this place? What's exactly going on?"
The officer just realized the identity of the man sitting at the center of the cathedral.
It was Manu Flavio, a member of new Tokyo's Twelve Supremes.
"So, this is the guy that seriously tried to assassinate Deon-sama, eh?" Flavio suspected with a smirk on his face. Hmmm... Let's test this newly acquired weapon...
"Oi, Kid! Quick! Stay away from that man!" The chief officer grabbed his subordinate on his shoulders and pulled him away from the shackled criminal.
In that time, Flavio was already standing on his feet with the silver knife aimed at the assassin.
"Hahahahahaha! Hahahahahaha!"
The two officers, including the assassin, was horrified at the sudden burst of laughter of the man. They had never seen a smile as sinister as the one on the guy's face.
"Do you seriously think that Deon-sama can be killed? He's the great founder of this kingdom! The 8th True King passed his torch to Deon-sama! His abilities far surpassed what logic and science couldn't explain. He is our god! And messing with god deserves a punishment...! A DEATH PUNISHMENT!"
As the crystal in the knife began to emit a red light that was flashing back and forth, five balls of red flames began to appear, floating at Flavio's side. And in just a few seconds, the flames fired a huge burst of flare at the assassin's direction.
"!"
The flames were so fast that all the assassin could do was to accept his impending death.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
It was a terrifying scene. The two officers just froze on their feet, their eyes widened as they saw the criminal screaming in pain. Until the man set in flames fell on the ground and was reduced into digital ashes in front of their eyes.
"Wait a minute! Why did you..."
"Stop it, Kid!" The chief officer halted his subordinate. "If you value your family's life, forget what you had seen today!"
"But..."
"He already had done what we needed to do. Let's leave this place!"
Still trembling about what they had saw, the two SF officers immediately walked their way out the cathedral.
But within the cathedral where flames which erased a life was still scorching, the man in front of this blazing flare smirked once again.
"Hmmm... That fool, Allen Ambrosia left the kingdom, eh? Fate is really making it easy for me to have... The Throne of new Tokyo!"
